00:00Crypto narratives do not fail because stories don't matter. They fail because most people find the story too late.
00:07By the time everyone is posting the same thread, the early capital is often already positioned.
00:13By the time the narrative has a name, the first move has already been made and gone.
00:19And by the time retail feels confident, the trade, it's almost always crowded.
00:25So that is why it's always a good thing to have an edge and not asking what is the hottest
00:32crypto narrative, but what stage is the actual narrative in, right?
00:37So what we've done is built a proprietary tool, which is the decentralized news narrative momentum score to answer that.
00:45What it does is effectively ranks narratives using three signals, which are capital rotation, attention relative to the market cap
00:53and also builder activity.
00:55And the most important signal, I believe, is capital rotation because it is the best documented kind of in the
01:04best documented kind of sectors.
01:06Protocol TVL, stable coin inflows can move token prices and you can see things really react.
01:16Capital often enters the protocols first, attention then arrives later, right?
01:21So that gap is where the edge typically is.
01:24And the latest board, which is obviously this tool, we look at it and we've seen that RWA is the
01:32strongest substance led narrative right now.
01:35Tokenized real world assets are no longer just a buzzword.
01:38The sector has a real institutional demand, TVL growth and also clearer use cases around treasuries, private credit and on
01:46-chain collateral.
01:47Then you also have the AI narrative, which is really one of the loudest, right?
01:52The long-term thesis, it looks real, especially around the AI agents, payments, compute data.
01:58But the current attention may already be running ahead of kind of the proven usage, right?
02:04So then you've got BTC5 and prediction markets as well.
02:09And, you know, they are in that uncomfortable stage where capital and builders are moving before the, you know, full
02:19retail crowd arise.
02:21And that is what usually feels like, you know, you're being early, right?
02:27Restaking has definitely cooled.
02:30Meme coins are exhausted for sure.
02:33And Deepin is selective right now.
02:35Real projects and weak projects sitting inside the same broad label, pretty much.
02:40It's been a bad, a bad market thus far.
02:43And I think the lesson is simple.
02:45The narrative can be real, but it can be too crowded.
02:49Token can be down, but it's still not cheap.
02:52A sector can be hot while most of the tokens are failing.
02:56And also high momentum score can be a warning if the stages come to that euphoric phase, right?
03:03So the story is not edge, you know, the stage is, right?
03:09The stage of the kind of way that narrative is.
03:13And if you look at June 2026 right now, crypto rotation looks selective, not broad.
03:19Bitcoin dominance around kind of, well, we hit, I think, 60% at some point.
03:24Coming down now, the altcoin season index was around 39 at the time we're shooting this video.
03:30Meaning capital is concentrating into a few narratives with real on-chain revenue rather than lifting everything, right?
03:37So the real world asset market, like I said, it has been leading the narrative.
03:42I think we saw roughly 30 billion in tokenized value as of April this year.
03:47About 17 billion of it in private credit and the most profitable narrative of 2025 by a mile at about
03:55185% average return.
03:58While meme coins, on the other hand, deflated from about 150 billion in December 2024 at the peak, roughly to
04:06about 47 billion.
04:07Again, the most useful kind of documented pattern in RWA protocol TVL kind of has historically led governance token prices
04:18by about four to six weeks on DeFi Lama, right?
04:23Because institutional capital, like I said earlier, it typically enters the protocols before it rotates into the smaller token.
04:29So this narrative momentum score, a tool turns that lead time logic into per sector readings, scoring attention versus the
04:39market cap, capital rotation in the building, builder activity within the ecosystem, estimating which of those five rotation stages each
04:47of the narratives occupies.
04:49So you can actually tell catching fire from what is already burned.
04:54So if you want to check it out, the link is in the description to the full guide where you'll
04:59find the free tool and check out which narratives are hot, which part of the phases they are in.
05:06So you can make the right decision and not formal in on things that have already kind of popped or
05:12lost steam or, you know, things that are maybe underpriced.
05:16You're able to kind of maximize and get in on those.
