Zaire Wade, the eldest son of NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, is facing serious legal trouble after being arrested in California on felony domestic violence-related charges.
According to the Burbank Police Department, the 24-year-old was taken into custody on June 21 after officers responded to a 911 call reporting a woman screaming at a residence in Burbank, California. When police arrived, they discovered a woman with visible lacerations on her face and body. Paramedics evaluated her at the scene, but she was not transported to a hospital.
Authorities booked Zaire Wade on three charges: felony domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment. An emergency protective order was also issued for the alleged victim. Police additionally recovered a handgun from the residence following the arrest.
After being booked into custody, Wade posted a $50,000 bond and was released later the same day.
