West Indian cricketer Shimron Hetmyer played a major role with bat and also on the field as Seattle Orcas beat Washington Freedom by 88 runs in their clash last evening.

Seattle made 227 for 6, with Hetmyer unbeaten on 79, while captain Marcus Stoinis hit 42.

In reply, Washington capitulated for 139 in the 17th over, with Jasdeep Singh grabbing a five-for, while Hetmyer held onto four catches.
