West Indian cricketer Hayley Matthews was named player of the match after taking a catch and grabbing 3 for 16 to help Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat Giants by five wickets.

Gujarat made 120 all out, with Nat Sciver-Brunt also among with the wickets, with 2 for 26.

In reply, Mumbai Indians reached 122 for 5 in the 17th over, with Sciver-Brunt getting 57.
