00:00What do you make of the memo that we've seen and the talks that have happened thus far?
00:03So this memo, it really ends a war that has a long history. It's something that the Israelis
00:10under Benjamin Netanyahu have been trying to get the Americans to do for years, decades even.
00:17And finally they succeeded. They went to war. Very specific goals from the Israeli point of view.
00:25They sounded all over the place from the U.S. because that's kind of Trump's style.
00:31These are the reasons why he rejected President Obama's 2015 agreement with the Iranians.
00:38And that is it didn't cover enough of the nuclear issue, didn't make it permanent,
00:43that it didn't cover Iran's ballistic missile program, and that it didn't cover the proxies that it has.
00:51You know, Hamas, Hezbollah, the militias in Iraq, etc.
00:55So, you know, he went to war, the Israelis went to war looking to solve these things.
01:00And they were only solvable on American terms if you got regime change.
01:05You didn't get it. So therefore, the Americans lost the war.
01:09There's really no way of getting around that.
01:12And this deal is the kind of deal that you get when you lose a war.
01:15And we'll see you next time.
01:15Well, I hear you.
