00:00Muda has questioned the timing of the government's $216.44 million allocation for Johor,
00:08announced just weeks before the state election.
00:10Muda President Amira Ayesha Abdul Aziz says voters can distinguish between genuine policies
00:16and politically timed election candies.
00:18In an Instagram post, she said she supported development but questioned why such announcements
00:24were made so close to an election.
00:26Amira said Housing and Local Government Minister Na Ko Ming had made similar announcements
00:32at by-elections in Kuala Kebubaru and Sungai Bakap previously.
00:36Na yesterday announced RM216.44 million for Johor under the 13th Malaysia Plan.
00:44He said the funds will go towards affordable housing, public amenities, community welfare,
00:49solid waste management as well as urban and rural development.
00:52Johor voters head to the polls on July 11th, with nominations tomorrow and early voting
00:58on July 7th.
