00:00Yeah, I saw those comments, they were interesting.
00:03He also described Manchester as a small town, I think, which is one of our great cities,
00:07and a place I have a great affection for.
00:11Listen, the relationship between the US and the UK is very important,
00:15and President is a Prime Minister, and obviously Andy Burnham is not a Prime Minister yet,
00:19but we all expect he will be.
00:22That remains to be seen.
00:23What's most important, I think, for the citizens of this country is what we do domestically.
00:29So, we need to fund our defence forces properly.
00:32That's what we need to do.
00:33Now, we've said to Andy Burnham and to anybody else who ends up the leader of the Labour Party,
00:38and we've said this to Keir Starmer,
00:39is that we'll work with them to reform welfare, because that's the only way you'll find the savings
00:44to be able to put into defence, because we need to do that now.
00:47It's £28 billion shortfall, according to the people who put these plans together.
00:52So, that's what we need to do.
00:54So, we're willing to collaborate, work with a Labour government,
00:57because that's the quickest way of getting this done.
01:00That's the most important thing now.
01:03If Andy Burnham can't do that, then we're in real trouble,
01:06and we would want to see a general election.
01:08That's what we'd like to see if that was the case.
