00:27Like, this hole is so badass, man.
00:30It's an uphill par three with this crazy green, and we just watched two of the best players in the
00:36world hit two completely different shots, and they both ended up in the same spot.
00:42Scotty hit a pitching wedge, and it was, I think, 153 today, and he hit this, like, sawed-off little
00:48cut pitching wedge where, you know, he's trying to ride the slope that kind of runs up the left side
00:53of the green,
00:54and, like, it's, like, it's almost like he was a skateboarder riding the half pipe.
00:59You know, he's, it's just kind of, like, right on the edge of riding it, and it's so close to
01:04tipping the scales and going, going off the half pipe and all the way down the hill.
01:08He goes to 15 feet and hits a great shot, and then Wyndham's, like, I'm going to hit sand wedge.
01:15What? Sand wedge? From 155? And, I mean, it's not the first time he, like, he did it on 14,
01:24too. He had, like, 150 and hit sand wedge.
01:25So, if you're thinking about how you can improve your game, 150, sand wedge. Rip it.
01:33Just right in the middle of the ball. Just equator, just keep that thing about five feet off the ground,
01:39just hope it hits the front of the bank on the green and rolls up there.
01:42There's, there's no universe in which, I might hit sand wedge, two sand wedges, 150.
01:46There was, okay, so two holes in a row. Scotty was about a foot away. It was, it was about
01:55six inches away at 12, but probably, like, three feet away at 11 from being the closer one to where
02:02he would have gotten the read, where Wyndham got the read on 11 and 12.
02:06Now, he didn't make the putts, but just think about if the ball just barely does this way or the
02:12other way, maybe Scotty picks up the read and maybe he makes birdies at 11 and 12.
02:18Now, all of a sudden, he birdies 10, 11, 12. And it's that, that juice and momentum that he, like,
02:23didn't have. It's, it's because he wasn't able to make the mid-range putts.
02:27Had a good look at 13. Wyndham gets up and down from over the green. 14 was an interesting one
02:33because it was the first time that Scotty got a read,
02:36but it didn't help him because he was on this subtle slope where he's putting more across it. Meanwhile, Wyndham
02:43Clark was on top of the slope and he was putting more down.
02:46It was a quicker putt than I realized because I'm watching it. I didn't think it was that downhill. And
02:51then Scotty hit his putt and just absolutely rams it and has five feet coming back.
02:56And I think my call on, on air was, this is the most important putt of his week and he
03:01misses it. And then at the, at that time, he was four back with four to go.
