00:25Welcome to Marlins Way, where we find Lone Depot Park,
00:29interleague baseball on MLB The Show. It's the Tampa Bay Rays taking on the
00:34Miami Marlins. First pitch coming at you right after the break. And today on the
00:46hill, Chris Paddock and Singhi, it's unique these days, but he's more of a
00:51pitch-to-contact type of guy. Yeah, Boogie doesn't rely too heavily on the
00:55strikeout. He knows he needs to miss barrels, get some soft contact, let the
00:59defense do work behind him. And I think a guy like that can keep a good tempo,
01:04don't give hitters time to adjust or think. They could move through a ball game
01:08and you look up, they're in line for a quality start. We'll see what he's got in
01:11this one. The 1-0. Ground ball to the right side. Paulie takes it himself and the first
01:25out of the game is an easy one. Now a look at Kevin Cash's lineup for the Tampa Bay Rays.
01:31Needless to say, this is an aggressive lineup. They've drawn fewer walks than any other team
01:37in the league. Well, Boog, as I pop my collar, this lineup is taking the Chris
01:42Singleton approach. But in today's game, we know walks are key to scoring runs. At
01:48times, this lineup swings a little too freely. They need to make pitchers work
01:52harder. The 1-1. Line drive. That's a fair ball and it's getting into the corner. Throws to second.
02:16And he starts his afternoon off right with a double. He was all over that one. Nice job of
02:21driving that pitch the other way on a line. You know, hitters, they take so many reps in
02:26the cages working on going to the opposite field. And it doesn't always translate into
02:30the game. But right there, it did. And he did it perfectly.
02:33One out. Runner at second. Jonathan Arunda. Next to hit for the Rays.

04:12Well, anytime you can keep your ERA under three, you're doing a lot of things right. And you're
04:17putting your team in a position to win a lot of ballgames as well. And he's doing tremendous
04:22out there on the mound. Every time he gets the ball, you expect him to go out there and
04:26dominate. And that's what he's been to this point. We'll see how he is today.

21:37Didn't last long before I was pulled aside by a veteran pitcher.
21:41He had a talk with me.
21:42And I don't know if I ever missed a cutoff man again.
