00:04there's still a ton we don't know about black holes however a recent discovery has revealed
00:09they might be even more complicated than we previously thought physicists theorized before
00:13that when stars collapsed and became black holes they all sucked in anything and everything around
00:17them with the only real difference between them being their size however now researchers say the
00:22black holes could theoretically act differently given the right conditions in binary black hole
00:27systems where two black holes are gobbling up everything around them they could ingest enough
00:30to become charged as we know like electrically charged objects repel one another and the same
00:36should be true for black holes this could cause them to become more complicated especially while
00:40attempting to view them from hundreds of thousands or even millions or billions of light years away
00:45that's because a single black hole could theoretically possess multiple event horizons and binary black
00:50holes might appear to us as a single very large one the only problem with this new theory is that
00:54not a lot of it makes sense with regards to current physical models but black holes are strange and
00:58difficult to observe meaning under just the right circumstances with just the right binary system
01:03and when specific conditions are met it might just be possible
