Une chute annoncée. Le Premier ministre britannique, Keir Starmer, a annoncé sa démission ce lundi 22 juin lors d’une prise de parole devant le 10 Downing Street. « Mon parti se demande si je suis le meilleur pour les mener vers les prochaines élections. J’ai entendu mon parti et j’accepte leurs interrogations. C’est pour cela que j’ai pris la décision de démissionner », a-t-il fait savoir, ajoutant que le roi a été prévenu.
