Moins de deux ans après son arrivée au pouvoir, le Premier ministre travailliste Keir Starmer a annoncé lundi sa démission après des mois de pression, précisant qu'il resterait en poste jusqu'à la désignation de son successeur. « Chaque décision que j'ai prise visait avant tout à faire passer le pays que j'aime avant tout le reste. C'est pourquoi je vais démissionner de mon poste de chef du Parti travailliste » déclare-t-il lors d'une déclaration devant Downing Street.
