00:11uh so yes i have a lot of respect for zach uh for doing precisely that but as far as

00:17jeremy corbyn i mean i have tremendous respect for him uh i think he's a wonderful person and i i
00:23believe he's perhaps a little too kind for politics and and certainly british politics
00:28it's very clear to me that corbyn is uh is is first and foremost an unbelievably empathetic person
00:35uh and and that makes for great constituent services but um but i think uh
00:43unfortunately he's been unjustly maligned uh uh by by not only the british press but british
00:50politics as a whole but i but of course i'll always uh hold a special place in my heart for
00:56uh you know
00:57tireless advocates that that place uh humanitarian rights over uh you know popularity and he's been
01:05doing that for decades both from the uh demonstrations against apartheid south africa and certainly against
01:11his uh his his advocacy against uh the the war crimes and the uh actions of the state of israel
01:18the
01:18advocacy organizations that are are uh supposedly british but like very clearly care about um the
01:27reputation of israel uh were the primary groups that were uh creating a big fuss around my visit
01:35so um in that regard yeah i do think that it was it was uh there was definitely intervention i
01:42fear that
01:43instead of abiding by the wishes of the masses as more and more protests take place as more and more
01:49polling is conducted on the issue of israel uh where there is a big divergence between what the
01:54public wants and what the public is demanding versus what the government is doing um the the labor
02:00government has decided to take uh stringent action and engage in repression rather than leaning into the
02:08wishes of the majority on this issue i think a lot of people are understandably disturbed with the
02:13actions of israel uh and they're very frustrated that uh you know our governments are also morally culpable
