00:00Look, it's been clear that the Green Party has been absolutely captured by, sadly, in many cases, people with Islamist
00:07ideology.
00:08It was always a very unstable coalition that Polanski was trying to build between the far left and, as I
00:17said, frankly, people who subscribe to Islamist ideology.
00:21And I think Polanski has actually lost control of the Green Party.
00:24And in fact, you know, I remember it was not that long ago he emerged from pretty much nowhere and,
00:29to be fair, did carry the Green Party up five, eight, maybe even ten points in the polls.
00:33At one point, there were a few polls that showed them ahead of Labour.
00:37But actually, I'm afraid the, well, I think probably good for the country, but the Zach Polanski crash out will
00:43probably end up being studied, which is quite something.
00:46Yet another embarrassment for the British government that the Americans no longer feel like their bombers are safe at RAF
00:54Fairford.
00:55Look, I don't have enough information to be able to tell you exactly what has happened.
01:00It is clear that something very, very serious has happened and is happening.
01:06And this is the latest embarrassment.
01:08You know, our military was unable to deploy a destroyer in any sensible time frame.
01:13It took weeks to deploy it when our sovereign territory was hit by the Iranians in Cyprus.
01:19Look, our military has been catastrophically underfunded, first by the Tories, now by Labour.
01:25There's no real sign that Labour are changing this.
01:27They've got a chancellor who, remember, resigned from a different position on principle because Labour weren't spending enough on defence.
01:35And there's no sign that he's actually going to be getting to the number that he himself resigned over.
01:40So the whole thing is a farce. It's unsurprising.
01:43Reform will dramatically increase our defence spending.
01:47We think that having a strong, powerful military is vitally important for any number of serious threats in this country.
01:54One last thing I want to say is that we know we know that agents, operators operating at the behest
02:01of the Iranian regime are entering this country via boat, via the channel illegally.
02:07And what's happening? Instead of securing our border and eliminating that threat, at least in terms of new people coming,
02:14we're seeing police escorts being laid on for such people by this Andy Burnham government.
02:19The whole thing is twisted and it's a disgrace.
02:22Well, this is the same Conservative Party who had power, let's not forget, for 14 years.
02:26We haven't forgotten that. Let's look at what they did.
02:28They crushed military spending.
02:30You know, they crushed it from about, by about 100 basis points in terms of a percentage of GDP.
02:37They hollowed out our military.
02:38They hollowed out our Navy, our Army and our Air Force.
02:41And, you know, my first question would be, in terms of a big, sophisticated Iron Dome, is does it work
02:46on dinghies?
02:48You know, that's the insane situation we have.
02:50As I said, hostile actors operating at the behest of a nation state that is effectively at war with the
02:56United Kingdom, has struck our sovereign territory.
02:57We know this is happening.
02:59The government are not denying that it's happening.
03:01And instead of securing our border, they are laying on police escorts for them.
03:04And the Tories were even worse.
03:06The Tories let in 130,000, mainly military-aged men, from countries that despise Britain over their 14 years.
03:14Even Labour haven't gotten to that number yet.
03:15So I'm afraid nothing the Tories say on this matter should be taken remotely seriously.
03:21Well, again, just look at what the Tories did when they actually had power, in some cases with walloping majorities.
03:26They could have done whatever they wanted.
03:27What did they do with taxes?
03:29They took the tax burden on working British people to the highest level since World War II.
03:33Let me say that again.
03:34They took the tax burden on British people to the highest level since World War II, all along promising to
03:41cut taxes.
03:42Just like they promised to cut immigration down to the tens of thousands in four consecutive manifestos and ended up
03:47letting in 11 million people.
03:4911 million in their 14 years.
03:51Even Jeremy Corbyn would have struggled to hit those numbers.
03:53So, look, the reality is, I want to say it again, what the Tories are doing at their conference is
03:58a group of highly deluded people essentially doing the same thing,
04:02making a whole bunch of promises with absolutely no intention of keeping them.
04:05The British people are not goldfish.
04:07They're much smarter than the Tories are.
04:10And they are not going to forget nor forgive what the Tories did to this country.
