00:14in collaboration with the Shri Shri School of Yoga and the Art of Living, organized a special
00:20wellness program based on the theme, Yoga for Healthy Aging. The event brought together students,
00:26faculty members, wellness practitioners and yoga enthusiasts to discuss the role of yoga in

00:38CEO and Director of the Shri Shri School of Yoga at the Art of Living International Centre,
00:44Bengaluru, highlighted how yoga can help individuals maintain physical fitness,
00:49mental clarity and emotional balance throughout their lives.
00:53Also, there's not much of awareness on yoga, I would say. That's another reason.
00:58Thanks to the Prime Minister, of course, at least we've got to this particular stage.
01:02But there needs to be greater awareness amongst people. How is it that yoga can really benefit?
01:07Even amongst youngsters, they will think that, okay, yoga is not for me. When I reach 60 or 65,
01:13I will go for yoga. It's just meant for old people. Unlike that, we have a large, in fact,
01:19I would say the Art of Living and the Shri Shri School of Yoga, we have a large youth following.
01:23You must have heard of things. And it's very heartening to see some of the developments right
01:27now because many of the, you must have heard of the word called bhajan jamming.
01:32Mm-hmm. Yeah.
01:32Right? So there are a lot of youngsters, the Gen Z audience, which is now getting, recognizing this,
01:39that yoga is helping them, that getting into bhajan jamming and something spiritual is actually saving
01:45them from, you know, debilitating habits, I would say. The program also featured expert insights
01:52on preventive healthcare, stress management, mobility, and lifestyle choices that contribute
01:58to healthier aging. Shri Rudrainsh Kumar Singh, head of corporate and government yoga programs,
02:04desk at the Shri Shri School of Yoga, emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into everyday life
02:11and making wellness accessible to people across all age groups. Listen, they will tell Dhyanam Paramam Tapaha
02:20means Tapasya is the main thing to reach our last destination in every religion. So in that way,
02:32our students are actually, you know, they are little bit distracted. So we have to, they are very good
02:39students, but they have to be in the one path, that path is a good for the nation. In that
02:47way,
02:48our Prime Minister Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi Ji started this yoga from last 12 years and it's
02:56become an international, you know, celebration day. And that is, you know, healthy youth for healthy
03:03India, now healthy youth for the healthy world because of the destruction from all over the world
03:11because of so many reasons. Now we have to come back and concentrate yourself and do something
03:20for your Atma and reach that Paramatma. And when you are good in front of the society,
03:26when you are thinking about yourself, then you can think about others also good things.
03:31A major highlight of the event was a mass yoga practice session where participants performed
03:37specially curated yoga and wellness protocols focused on flexibility, balance, breathing and
03:43mindfulness. The event served as a precursor to International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations
03:50and reinforced the message of yoga for one earth, one health, encouraging people to embrace yoga as a
03:57way of life for healthier communities and active aging.
