00:14you all don't look older than 53 years.
00:17Some of you weren't waiting 53. You weren't born yet.

01:57Now the architect of this roster, New York Knicks president, Leon Rose.
02:11First, first, I want to thank Jim Dolan, who I've known for many years.
02:17I want to thank him for bringing me into the organization.
02:21What's that?
02:22Speak up.
02:22Can you hear me?
02:25Yeah.
02:25All right.
02:27First, I want to thank Jim Dolan, who I've known for a very long time.
02:31And I want to thank him for bringing me into the organization six years ago.
02:36He's believed in us through every step of his journey and supported us in every way imaginable.
02:42To the players, as you heard, the cardiac kids.
02:48No quit.
02:49Find a way to win.
02:50Again, it's really representing the grit and the character of the people of New York.
02:57Your commitment and sacrifice was second to none.
03:01Mike Brown and our entire coaching staff, you came in this season with enormous expectations
03:08and completely exceeded them.
03:12And you did it with so much class that resonated with New Yorkers.
03:17To my front office, you have been here since the start with me.
03:22And there were so many decisions, big and small, that we made together that got us here today.
03:28And to my family, I can't describe how much it means to me and how special it's been to
03:36go through this journey with you and celebrate with you.
03:39And to all the families of the NIC organization.
03:43And last, and most importantly, to the greatest fans in the world, we did it for you.
03:53Your support in every arena, it felt like a home game wherever we played.
04:00And all over the world has been unbelievable.
04:03And we hope to see you again very soon.
04:13Now, please welcome the championship head coach of the Knicks, Mike Brown.
04:35First of all, I'd like to thank the governor and the mayor for doing this for us.
04:41I'm proud of Mr. Dolan, Leon and his staff, all the players, all the coaches, Jamal, the
04:50front office side, all the Knick alumni that I see out there.
04:54We appreciate you guys.
04:56I got to, Pat Ewing, I got to give you a shout out.
04:59You've been with us this whole journey.
05:01I want to thank everybody.
05:02I'm proud of everybody for helping accomplish this great feat.
05:06The energy today and all around New York is off the charts.
05:12And I want to thank you all for it.
05:14Let's keep this energy going, baby, because this championship, this championship is about
05:19you guys.
05:19This is New York City's championship.
05:24I will say this, you know, I'm so proud of our guys from the top to the bottom.
05:32There was a lot of hard work that we put in.
05:35Starting with the off season, going into the season, a lot of stuff that you guys don't
05:40see behind the scenes.
05:43Guys busting their behinds, not just our players, our medical staff, you know, keeping those guys
05:49healthy.
05:50No, let's give them a round of applause for sure.
05:56At the beginning of the year, I had everybody sign a contract.
06:02And I didn't want you to sign the contract if you didn't believe in it.
06:06But it was about sacrifice.
06:09You saw our team sacrifice time after time after time after time throughout the course
06:14of the year.
06:15You saw our team stay connected through the most adverse times through the course of the
06:23year.
06:23We had our ups.
06:24We definitely had our downs.
06:26And our group stayed connected through those times.
06:29You saw it every time we hit the floor.
06:32It didn't matter who was suited up.
06:34Our guys brought a competitive spirit that obviously was unmasked.
06:38Listen, that's why we're the 2026 NBA championship.
06:44You saw the belief, the belief in each other.
06:47It didn't matter whose number I called.
06:50Guys could be Jordan Clarks.
06:52He didn't play for two months.
06:53He stuck with it.
06:55His teammates believed in him.
06:57He believed in the process.
06:59They believed in each other.
07:00And we all held each other accountable.
07:03That's the standard of what it was to be a New York Knick in 25, 26.
07:07And that's why we're champions today.
07:11Playing in front of you guys when we had our ups was fantastic.
07:16But you're the most knowledgeable fan base in the whole NBA.
07:20Your guys' energy when we had our downs was off the charts.
07:24And I want to thank you for it.
07:26There's nothing better than walking into the iconic building of MSG and getting down night
07:33after night after night in front of you guys.
07:35You guys made us feel the energy and brought us over the hump when we didn't feel like playing
07:41or when our game wasn't at the top.
07:44Again, I'd like to thank all the players.
07:46I can go down the line with all their accomplishments.
07:49They were huge throughout the course of the year.
07:52But at the end of the day, I want to thank you guys.
07:55Because without you, this wouldn't be possible.
08:00Let's go one time.
08:01Who let the dogs out?
08:05Who let the dogs out?
08:08I love you, New York.
08:18And now time to hear from the 2026 NBA Finals MVP and the captain of the Knicks, Jalen Brunson.
08:48I don't know how many times I'm going to tell Mike to stop doing that shit.
08:51Sorry.
08:55First and foremost, I want to say thank you to Jim Dolan and the front office for believing
09:03in the kid no one else would.
09:10Thank you to my teammates for giving me confidence every single day.
09:14The belief we had in each other made this possible.
09:17Thank you to our coaching staff, our medical staff, everyone that pitched in every single
09:21day behind the scenes.
09:25Damn.
09:27We really did it, dog.
09:35Somehow, someway, I knew we were going to find a way to get this done.
09:39Most importantly, thank you to the fans.
09:44I'm not going to lie, though.
09:46Y'all have some pretty hard critics.
09:49But we appreciate it.
09:50At least I do.
09:52Appreciate it a lot.
09:54Lastly, I want to say, I want to thank my family.
10:04Truly, truly without them, their sacrifice and everything would be possible.
10:09My inner circle, I mean, they keep me humble every single day.
10:13They don't let me get off track for nothing.
10:18Damn, New York, we really did it, man.
10:19We really did it.
10:24We're going to trade this for the world.
10:28Lastly, there's a lot of people that have a lot of negative stuff to say.
10:33There's a lot of people who have a lot of opinions.
10:38But when you prove them wrong, you really don't have to say shit to them.
10:52Nah, they don't deserve it.
10:53They don't deserve it.
10:55Appreciate y'all.
