01:52Well today in BALLAMORI

01:56Because it's a windy day
02:02And everyone here is busy going to work and school
02:09So I wonder what adventures we'll get up to today
02:14Oh look at this
02:17It's a wee umbrella
02:19I wonder how that got in there
02:24Oh this won't keep me very dry in a rainstorm will it?
02:28That reminds me
02:29I've still no idea where my umbrellas vanish to
02:33And I might need it later
02:35If this wind decides to blow a rain cloud my way

04:36And penny pockets calculator
04:38The list goes on and on
04:39And have you any idea where it all might be?
04:41Not so far
04:42That's why I'm here
04:43I was hoping that you might remember seeing them somewhere
04:46Oh I'm sorry
04:47I've got trouble remembering anything lately
04:49I don't even know my own umbrella it is
04:51Is your umbrella missing?

04:53And I'll probably get caught under a rain cloud tonight on my way home too
04:57Oh dear
04:59Can you remember where you last saw it?
05:01Er
05:01At home
05:02Under the kitchen sink

05:14Bye
05:16Happy hunting
05:17Happy hunting
05:17So
05:18Which colour house do you think PC Plum will visit first today?
05:27Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
05:33Well this part of the story in Balamori asks which is the house for me?
05:39Is it yellow?
05:40Is it red?
05:42Or should we go to the greenhouse instead?
05:44White, orange, blue or pink?
05:47Which coloured house do you think?
05:56Which coloured house are we going to?
05:59Tell me what do you think?
06:01Which coloured house are we going to?
06:04Tell me what do you think?
06:07Which coloured house are we going to?

06:08Which coloured house are we going to?
06:08Tell me what do you think?
06:09Which coloured house are we going to?
06:11Tell me what do you think?
06:13Which coloured house are we going to?
06:19Oh, hello Ted. Now, let me see. Aha, the kitchen sink. So far so good. Now, what do we have
06:31in here? A pair of rubber gloves for washing up. One duster. Still no sign of Miss Hooley's umbrella.
06:43Odd. Miss Hooley's at the nursery. I wonder who that could be.
06:49Of course. It must be the mystery thief. He's probably taken Miss Hooley's umbrella and now has come back for
06:56something else.
06:58I'll have to hide if I'm going to catch him. There.
07:08Stop. I arrest you in the name of Edie. What are you doing here?
07:14Oh, I was returning Miss Hooley's umbrella. She left it on my bus yesterday afternoon.
07:20On your bus?
07:21Yes. Oh, what are you doing here?
07:25Well, I'm trying to catch the mystery thief.
07:28Oh, a mystery thief? Here in Ballamory?
07:30Yes.
07:31Do you think he has my missing spanners?
07:34Your missing spanners? Spencer's paintbrush? Lots of things have been going missing in Ballamory lately and somebody's to blame.
07:43The mystery is who?
07:44Talking of things, I have a box of lost property on my bus for you.
07:49Oh?
07:50Yes, I was just about to drop it off at the police station.
07:52Well, I'm about to cycle down there myself.
07:54Great. I'll see you there.
08:13Oh, there you go, piecey pump. One box of lost property.
08:20Oh, I'm so sorry.
08:23Oh, well, I'll have a look through this lot as soon as I've worked out who the mystery thief is.
08:28Good luck.
08:29Thanks, Edie. Bye.
08:31Bye.
08:32Oh, dear.
08:34Well, I better put this box out of the way.
08:39That's odd. It won't fit.
08:42Oh.
08:49Where have all these boxes come from?
08:55More lost property boxes.
08:58Of course.
08:59I've been so busy trying to work out who the mystery thief is, I haven't had a chance to look
09:03through the lost property boxes.
09:09Oh, dear.
09:14Now, let's see what's been lost, shall we?
09:16Oh.
09:18Two spanners.
09:21A large paintbrush.
09:24Oh.
09:25A calculator.
09:30Wait a minute.
09:34They're all on my missing list.
09:37Found.
09:38Edie's spanners.
09:39Spencer's paintbrush.
09:40Penny's calculator.
09:42Oh, no.
09:43That means I must be the mystery thief.
09:45P.C. Plum.
09:47Are you home?
09:48Oh, dear.
09:49That's Susie.
09:50She can't find all these things in here.
09:54Oh, P.C. Plum.
09:57Am I glad to see you.
09:59Hello, Susie.
10:00How can I help you?
10:01Have you found my cookbook yet?
10:03Not yet, Susie.
10:04But I have a feeling it may have found its way into, um, one of these, er, boxes.
10:13Well, it's not in that one, but, er, oh, well, seven more to go.
10:17Seven?
10:18Oh.
10:18I haven't got time to search through more clutter.
10:22Maybe if you got somebody in to put things in order, I'd get my book back quicker.
10:26You're right, Susie.
10:27I need to get everything sorted out.
10:30But who in Balamori is good at sorting everything out?
10:33I know the perfect person to help you put things in order.
10:36And I'm just off to see her now.
10:39You mean...
10:41Pennypocket.
10:42Pennypocket.
10:43Oh yeah, man.

11:28Don't get heavy.
11:30I can organise you, supervise you.
11:33I'll always advise you, sup and surprise you.

12:16Penelope Pocket.
12:17Pennypocket's gonna organise you.
12:19Oh, my God.
12:26Hello, Plummy.
12:27Hello, Penny.
12:28Oh, dear me.
12:29Hey, Susie was right.
12:31You do need help to sort things out.
12:33So, what's the story in Ballamory?
12:36Well, it all started when I popped in to see Miss Hooley this morning.
12:42I called in on important police business.
12:44A lot of things had been going missing in Ballamory,
12:47and I was looking for clues and the mystery thief.
12:51Miss Hooley told me about her missing umbrella,
12:52which I added to my list.
12:55I went off to Miss Hooley's house to search for her umbrella.
12:59While I was there, I surprised Edie, who had popped in to return Miss Hooley's missing umbrella.
13:04She had found it on her bus.
13:07Edie also had a box of other lost things that she had found on her bus.
13:11She brought the box to the police station.
13:14When she left, I found even more boxes of lost property filled with many of the lost things on my
13:19list.
13:20I was the mystery thief because I had forgotten to sort out all the lost property.
13:25Susie arrived and we searched for her missing cookbook.
13:27But everything was in such a muddle we couldn't find it.
13:32Susie thought you were the ideal person to help sort out all this lost property.
13:36She was right.
13:39OK, let's get away finding out what belongs to who.
13:43So, have you any idea who that paintbrush belongs to?
13:47Oh, one paintbrush? Yes, Spencer.
13:49Great. So, we can put Spencer's paintbrush into one of these boxes.
13:54In fact, it might be a good idea if we sort everything into different boxes for different people.
14:01Oh, yes. Like everything to do with painting and music in Spencer's box because there are things he does.
14:06Exactly. Now, we need something to tell us which is whose box.
14:12Oh, yes, I know. Hang on.
14:17Here we are, Penny. I've got a coloured file on all the people.
14:21Miss Hooley, I'm Susie Sweet. Oh, there's Spencer.
14:25Great. We can stick each file onto the front of a box.
14:30Oh, and it has a picture of the person as well to make doubly sure it's the right box.
14:34Perfect.
14:35Well, we'll have the rest of these boxes sorted in no time.
14:37Oh, I'm sorry, Plummy, but I have to dash. I'm expected at the nursery to play a game with the
14:43children.
14:43I was hoping you would stay and help. We'd get it done in half the time.
14:47I know, but... I know. Why don't we ask the children to help?
14:53We could make it into a game. A sorting game. What do you think?
14:57I think it's a brilliant idea, Penny. Let's go to the nursery.
15:05Now, who in Balamori uses a paintbrush?
15:09Paint... Spencer!
15:11Spencer, yes. He loves to paint. That's brilliant.
15:14Where's Spencer's box?
15:15Oh, Sarah.
15:17Sarah, would you like to pop that in for me?
15:20Thank you very much.
15:22Brilliant. Now, who in Balamori loves to play football?
15:33Who in Balamori uses one of these? Now, this is a spanner.
15:40Now, who in Balamori uses a cookbook?
15:45Ah, yes! Well done. Thank you very much.
15:50Who in Balamori has a green umbrella?
15:53Miss Lily. Miss Lily.
15:55Yes, you can do that one. Can you see my breath?
15:57You're there. You're there.
15:58Come on.
15:59And last but not least, who in Balamori uses a calculator
16:03and is number one at sorting things out?
16:06Penny with a pocket. That's brilliant.
16:08I use a calculator when I'm adding up the price of things in my shop, don't I?
16:12See, that was you. Now, where's Penny's nice box?
16:15There. Down there. There.
16:18Well done.
16:26So, what was the story in Balamori today?
16:31Well...
16:35PC Plum thought there was a mystery thief at large in Balamori today.
16:39He popped into the nursery to ask if I'd seen any of the things on his missing items list.
16:44I hadn't, but I did tell him about my missing umbrella.
16:48He offered to find it for me.
16:51He went to my house to start the search.
16:55While he was there, he surprised Edie, who had found my missing umbrella on her bus.
17:00Edie found lots of other lost things too, which she took to the police station in a box.
17:06PC Plum found even more boxes under his desk, which were filled with all the things on his missing list.
17:13There was no mystery thief after all.
17:17PC Plum had just forgotten to sort the lost property.
17:20When Susie arrived for her missing cookbook, they were such a mess she thought PC Plum needed help to sort
17:26everything.
17:27So Penny came to the rescue.
17:30She thought of using different boxes for everyone who had lost something.
17:35Then she had the idea to use boxes to play a sorting game.
17:42And that was the story in Balamori.
17:44We had great fun playing the sorting game.
17:47And I even got my umbrella back.
17:49Now all that's left to do is put this umbrella back on the shelf.
17:57And then I can take my lost and found umbrella home.
18:02Oh, sounds like I might need it.
18:04I'll see you soon. Bye!
18:12Bye!
18:14Ba-la-mo-ri!
18:18Ba-la-mo-ri!
18:21Ba-la-mo-ri!
18:22What's the story in Balamori?
18:23What would you like to know?
18:25What's the story in Balamori?
18:27Where would you like to go?
18:35Bala Mori
18:40What's the story of Bala Mori?
18:43Wouldn't you like to know?
18:50Bala Mori
