00:10Hot dog trucks are the heartbeat sometimes of the hot dog industry.
00:15And you know, there's a new truck that's in Lindhurst,
00:18in kind of like this industrial area called the Grease Truck.
00:22They've only been around, they just started, they're just starting out.
00:25And they're hoping to make their mark in the hot dog community.
00:28And they invited me out here to give a try.
00:31And I'm going to give a try and see if these hot dogs are the big rookie.
00:36Are they Carson Benj?
00:38Or are they Mark Vientos?
00:40We'll figure that out now.
00:59All right, here we go.
01:00This is the standard hot dog.
01:02And you know, this is what you want to get off what a hot dog is supposed to look like
01:05when it comes off a truck.
01:07The dirty water hot dog.
01:08I mean, you've got the nice looking hot dog.
01:13Bunderdog ratio is good.
01:15Coloring is good.
01:16This looks like natural casing.
01:18You've got sabrettes, which is basically the gold standard here in New Jersey.
01:23But let's see how this actually tastes.

01:33Great hot dog.
01:35You know, this is a great lunch dog.
01:39Double every time.
01:42All right, and now here's the chili cheese dog.
01:44You know, you look at the chili.
01:46It looks like it's nice, smooth chili.
01:48You use the cheese sauce.
01:50But let's see how this hot dog tastes.
01:59That is a smooth, smooth, solid chili.
02:03Not too sloppy.
02:06A good meat sauce.
02:08Good chili dog.
02:12I'm actually going to give this one a triple.
02:15Because this is the type of chili that I really like.
02:19All right, well, you know, that's the great thing about hot dogs.
02:24You could just serve them off the back of a truck and they could be really good.
02:28You know, it doesn't take a lot of effort to make a great hot dog.
02:31And these guys are just starting up.
02:33And I think they have a lot of potential.
02:37I see a lot more cars than Benj.
02:39Then I see, uh, Brett Beatty and all these other buffs the Mets have.
