00:00Pragmata has only been out in the wild for a few days now, but it's already proven itself
00:04as one of the best rated Capcom games on Steam, and sold a million units after a mere 48 hours.
00:10Capcom announced the massive milestone in a new official press release, explaining how
00:14the game managed to achieve worldwide sales of over 1 million units in just two days,
00:18despite being a completely new IP, marking a strong start for the title.
00:22That's maybe a bit of an understatement. As it stands now, it's definitely one of the biggest
00:26new games of 2026. As the company writes, Pragmata was headed primarily by a team of younger Capcom
00:32developers who created an innovative gameplay experience. They did so by fusing action
00:36gameplay with puzzle elements set within a distinctive world ruled over by artificial
00:40intelligence. Most impressive of all is the fact that Pragmata had an absence of an established
00:45fanbase or pre-existing brand recognition, since, you know, it's the first of its kind. Capcom says
00:50it implemented a range of marketing initiatives that likely helped bolster its whole 1 million
00:54sales in two days, like its early playable demo. Capcom also cites its support for Nintendo Switch 2.
