00:00The bizarre and aggravating tale of GameStop's $56 billion bid for eBay, a bid it cannot possibly afford,
00:07has somehow gotten even more bizarre and aggravating.
00:10This week, GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen announced that he was selling stuff on eBay to pay for eBay.
00:18That stuff included a GameStop mousepad that attracted bids north of $1,500
00:23and a Master Chief statue that was pushing $14,000 last I checked.
00:29Then things got weirder.
00:31Cohen posted a screenshot declaring he had been permanently suspended because of activity
00:36that eBay believes was putting the eBay community at risk.
00:40One last cherry on the cake, when we checked Cohen's account, it was live and its auctions were still going.
00:46There was no sign he'd been banned at all.
00:49So, genuine ban or another self-aggrandizing stunt?
00:52I have my suspicions, but one thing's for sure, it's all really, really, really annoying.
