00:00The Armed Forces Minister, Al-Khans, also gave his own stark warnings.
00:04He criticised the government's Northern Ireland Legacy Bill,
00:07warning that that bill remains unfit for purpose
00:11and it risks failing the very veterans that it claims to protect.
00:16He warned that the Defence Investment Plan was both inadequately funded
00:20and not transformative enough.
00:23And yet, rather than heeding these warnings and changing course,
00:26the Prime Minister seems to be burying his head in the sand.
00:31This morning, we learned that the Prime Minister is refusing to offer
00:35any additional money to fund the Defence Investment Plan.
00:39So he is proposing to proceed with the exact funding package
00:44that half of his defence team has just resigned over.
