10:33But the emergence of their generational talent from France and a roster with a bunch of tough
10:38and talented young players gives Spurs fans the feeling this is only the beginning of
10:43a special new era.

10:50deeply about.
10:52The Knicks won the championship in 1970 and 73.
10:55New Yorkers fell in love with the game because of the play of Clyde and Willis, DeBuscher
11:01and Bradley.
11:03They passed that love down and generations have carried on that tradition of caring.
11:08But years passed and although there were a few close calls, many of the diehards wondered
11:13if they would ever witness a title in their lifetime.
11:17This year's Knicks team had potential and legitimate hope, but an uneven regular season
11:22and slow start to the playoffs allowed doubt to creep in once again.
11:26Then, in the fourth game of the first round, everything changed.
11:31And one of the great runs in NBA playoff history began, thanks to contributions from everywhere.
11:37By the architect, the former player agent who, when hired, asked the fans for patience.
11:42His patience resulted in a championship roster.
11:46By the veteran coach, in his first year in New York, the only pressure he faced was, you better get
11:51to the finals.
11:52With a brilliant, collaborative approach, he kept learning about his new team.
11:57And come playoff time, he pressed all the right buttons.
12:00And his players responded by giving him his first title as head coach.
12:05By a bench that took turns providing a nightly spark with shot-making, toughness, and defense, their impact on winning
12:14was critical.
12:17By the talented 3 and D wing, who had his ups and downs in the regular season, but the playoffs
12:22became his time to shine.
12:24He never misses a game, and the Knicks don't win at all without him.
12:29By the player who stars in his role as much as anyone who's ever put on a Knick uniform,
