00:00It's really disappointing at times, and sometimes it's really embarrassing.
00:04But for the far majority of the kids that are out in the street and enjoying themselves and celebrating a
00:10Nick win,
00:11I mean, I remember being a kid and feeling the same way when this team won two championships.
00:18So I can't sit here now, some 45 years, 50 years later, and say they shouldn't be out celebrating.
00:25You know, I want them to celebrate. I want them to cheer. I want them to be happy.
00:29I want them to be, you know, proud of something from around here.
00:32I just don't want them attacking five guys fry cooks.
00:36You know what I mean? I just I want is that so much to ask.
00:40Right. And, you know, the thing about you talk about Saturday night, Saturday night,
00:43you and I will be so far away from this place on Saturday night.
00:46Oh, yeah, that we wouldn't have to deal with it.
00:48But I do. I honestly I honestly wonder what's going through some people's minds
00:55when they do some of the things that you've seen on social media.
00:58And it does it really does bother me. And I guess I'm older.
01:02So, like, I don't even want to understand why people would do something like this.
01:05But it does put a little bit of a stain on things.
01:10And I don't want that. I want people to feel proud about the city.
01:13I want people to see just what the Knicks mean to the city.
01:16I think James Dolan wants that. I think all the Knick players want that.
01:19But they also want everybody to respond in kind.
01:23You know what I'm saying?
01:23Yeah, of course. I mean, I'm proud of.
