00:00They really aren't being treated like the juggernaut like they've played.
00:03Well, it's interesting because everyone who plays the Knicks
00:06ends up shooting horribly from three-point range.
00:10Last night, both teams shot terribly.
00:1236% the Spurs were from the field, 25% from three-point range.
00:16But if you even go back into that Cleveland series,
00:19a team that they have some shooters,
00:21you know, guys who you're not really trusting in the postseason
00:24because we all know how James Hart is.
00:25But Donovan Mitchell's a good player.
00:27These teams, they shot 27%.
00:28This is going in reverse order.
00:3027% from three-point range.
00:3229% from three-point range.
00:3326% from three-point range.
00:35And in game one, they shot 32% from three-point range.
00:38You're not beating the Knicks if you're not making shots like that.
00:41And then their field goal percentages were at or around or under 50%
00:45for most of these series.
00:47And so at some point, we have to stop saying,
00:50teams are just shooting poorly against the Knicks.
00:52And, you know, it's just bad luck on their part.
00:54Maybe the Knicks are just so physical and so aggressive that it disrupts you.
01:00Like, you don't feel comfortable playing against this Knicks team,
01:05even if on paper you have the edge or whatever you want to call it.
01:12And so I think too many of these sharps out in Vegas or wherever the hell they are
01:17are looking at the statistics on paper and not the actuality of how this Knicks team bothers you.
01:23And we don't talk about it enough because of how impressive they are offensively,
01:27but defensively this Knicks team is, they've been elite.
01:31They've been absolutely elite.
01:33No doubt.
01:33The San Antonio Spurs scored 95 points in this game,
01:36and they went stretches where they didn't score at all.
01:38So that's not just bad shooting by a young team in the postseason.
01:44That's the Knicks playing with a different urgency.
01:46And so when we look at game two, right, game two, tomorrow night,
01:51people are saying this is desperation for the Spurs, right?
01:54This is a must-win game for the Spurs.
01:56Well, you know what I've seen in this postseason?
01:58When an opposing team has a must-win against the New York Knicks,
02:02the Knicks play better, right?
02:04So why are they dogs?
02:07You know what I mean?
02:08How many times do we have to see?
