00:00I really enjoyed it. It's been a long time since I've acted in front of a camera.
00:05There is something about being a voice actor, I must admit, that I do like, which is the anonymity of
00:11it.
00:11Even if it's, you know, your likeness, it's still slightly detached in a way.
00:17So I felt a sort of vulnerability being in front of the camera again.
00:22But, you know, in terms of acting and storytelling, I think, you know, the challenge of being a voice actor,
00:30when it's only your voice, is you have to put your body language, your gestures, the way you look at
00:36somebody, all of that has to come through the voice.
00:39Whereas when you are filmed, you know, the camera is going to see your thoughts, you can't, the camera is
00:44going to see how maybe your body language is giving another message than what you're actually saying.
00:52And that is also a real pleasure, you know, to do that as an actor and to figure out how
00:56to do that.
00:58So I must admit, I did enjoy the opportunity to have a go at that again.
01:02And also the, you know, the script written by Dana Thompson and Abu Salim as well.
01:09It just had so much to work with.
01:12And that was a real pleasure too, to, in one fell swoop, in one big monologue, just this huge journey
01:18in a way.
01:19So I really enjoyed going on that journey with this character.
