00:00I think right now we're in a transitory period.
00:05Things are changing at an extremely fast rate,
00:08and I don't think that this level of change and this speed of change is a healthy thing.
00:14I have heard people say about AI,
00:17yeah, well, the Industrial Revolution happened, and look what came out the other side of it.
00:20And I go, okay, cool.
00:22The Industrial Revolution happened over a long period of time,
00:26and a lot of people suffered as a result.
00:28You were just lucky enough not to be one of the people born in that time.
00:33We're going through something similar to that right now.
00:35If we don't have proper safety measures in place,
00:39if we don't stop and take a moment and kind of work out what's the ways in which,
00:45if there's things that we can't control and people are going to keep moving ahead,
00:47we need to make sure people are protected and have proper safeguards in place to look after them.
00:52And that's the thing we don't have right now.
00:54People will always want to save money.
00:56There are always going to be people who want to cut the corners.
00:58I think it's a shame that it's happening in creative industries,
01:02where, again, the joy is the doing.
01:06The result is cool, but take joy in the doing and then enjoy the result.
01:12Don't just want to go straight to the result.
01:15You're missing the point of what it means to be creative in that moment
01:18and the pleasure that comes from that.
01:21So I think it's a shame that we're seeing it happen so frequently at the moment
01:27in the arts and in the creative industries.
