The fever doesn't stop.

This time the TV6 newsroom has been infected.

Reporter Vinod Narwani went around asking some of the staff members on the teams they were supporting.
Transcript
00:08the 2026 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner many supporters will be hoping to see their team
00:14coming out on top let's find out from members of TV6 which team are they supporting Rochelle
00:20which team are you supporting for the World Cup my team Brazil Brazil Brazil of course how good a
00:28chance do you think they have I think they will do it Mark I already know which team you're supporting
00:33so I'll just ask do you think they can retain the title I think they have a pretty good chance
00:38considering the draw the side where the most likely the hardest opposition could be Spain or
00:45Colombia while the other big guns on the other side so they have a pretty good chance I think
00:48they are like ranked fourth overall to retain the title I mean you know France and Spain are
00:54right up there as as the favorites and of course they can't discount a side like Brazil or Germany
01:00but one of the teams I think you also need to watch as a dark horse is Norway candy your
01:06team for this
01:07World Cup Senegal has always been my team because of Sadio Mane so I'm supporting Senegal cheers
01:15Charlotte I know you're gonna be more relaxed during this World Cup tell everybody why
01:20because I'm not really supporting a team I will be watching the World Cup I'll be paying attention to
01:26the games but I'm not really supporting a team per se we have our famous editor Akua George Akua which
01:34team are you supporting for the World Cup ah World Cup 26 Spain where did it all start um well
01:41as a Real
01:41Madrid supporter yeah look forward for Spain in the 2026 World Cup as the yeah victors
01:48Sergio many moons ago you were supporting Brazil are you sticking to that not this year this year I think
01:55the
01:55World Cup has expanded to 48 teams and I look forward to seeing how the entire
01:59competition goes and seeing I think other teams have a good chance of winning as well I believe you have
02:04favorites um in particular Spain and France I think considering that it's in the
02:09CONCACAF region you have to look at Mexico and you have to look at the United
02:13States as well they both have a good chance but I believe Mexico has a slightly
02:17better chance than United States of at least reaching the final and I'm saying at
02:23least to reach the final and that's sort of pushing it but you never know teams
02:26are inspired when playing at home chess we have a big-time editor Mikel car here
02:32Mikel which team are you supporting for the World Cup as usual is new one team
02:37either support beyond my national country and that is Argentina cheers Ria

02:56Joel team that you're supporting for the World Cup France that's the team would you like to elaborate
03:03I always found that um you know like the last World Cup in particular that final with against Argentina
03:10that epic sort of battle on the field and went down to the penalties and everything it was really like
03:15wow boy you know it could have gone either way I'm hoping for them that they you know get that
03:20opportunity to hold the trophy this time
03:23all right we have the head of news mr Carl Ellingson your team Brazil any reason
