00:00going up the escalator and seeing the soccer ball and the World Cup graphics.
00:06And it said, I think it's like 470 days to World Cup.
00:10It was over a year.
00:11Yeah, yeah, the countdown.
00:13And we are how many days away now from the first World Cup game?
00:17Monday.
00:18Monday, it's here.
00:20Fan Fest, y'all, the FIFA Fan Fest opens, easy for me to say, on Thursday.
00:25And I was seeing folks, they were doing the media run yesterday
00:28on what it looks like.
00:29Phenomenal.
00:30It's free to get in, but you've got to go register for a QR code
00:33because they're going to limit it at people.
00:35But this massive screen out there to watch all the games, that's coming up on Thursday.
00:40Friday, the U.S. Men's National Team begins their biggest soccer event ever,
00:44and we are all over it with our Match Day parties brought to you by Michelob Ultra.
00:49So Dukes and Bell are going to be at Jimmy's Tequila and Karnas
00:52on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Doral getting you ready for the match.
00:56And then Jason Longhorn and Chris Thomas, 8 to 10 p.m. at Mazzy's Sports Bar and Grill in Duluth.
01:02So at both locations, y'all, this is the big part of this.
01:06Michelob Ultra is giving you the chance to win tickets to an upcoming match in Atlanta,
01:10brought to you by Michelob Ultra, official beer sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 26.
01:15Friday, Sports Radio 92.9 The Game.
01:17I will tell you that I was watching morning news this morning on WSB, and that's not true.
01:23Good Morning America National that was running overnight, that at every single venue,
01:29the prices are coming down, as you said.
01:32Great information, and that's what people have been asking me.
01:34And I was like, listen, they're going to fill the buildings, and those prices are going to drop.
01:39And the group stage games, they already know you ain't filling the hotel rooms for the group stage.
01:45You ain't filling for the first two weeks unless you bring those prices down.
01:49And that's from Kansas City to Mexico City to Toronto to Atlanta to Boston, New York, Seattle, across the board.
01:58I was actually last night looking at where a lot of these countries, USA has a Seattle game.
02:04They got an L.A. game, you know, some of these big countries.
02:08We get Spain, which is the number one ranked team in the world, I believe.
02:12So I'm going to give you the lineup of the very first World Cup game.
02:16Mexico is playing a bunch of games in Mexico City and two other locations.
02:20That's going to be a wild scene.
02:23That's going to be a wild scene.
02:25I'm just going to tell you that downtown Atlanta is 50% there with Centennial Yards and what's going on
02:34south of downtown, it's called,
02:36where all these new restaurants are opening.
02:37The CNN Center now called The Center and what they've done.
02:40But the big thing is Centennial Yards.
02:42And I was at Cosm the other night.
02:43You heard me talking about it and things I learned.
02:45I'm going back to Cosm on Wednesday night for the opening.
02:49It's officially open to the public on Wednesday for game four of the Knicks and Spurs.
02:55I'm telling you that I have been just, you know, Clockwork Orange.
03:00It's not really a chick movie.
03:02But when they, you've seen Clockwork Orange.
03:05They do your eyelids and they brainwash you and you have to watch all this violence and it changes your
03:10brain.
03:11And they try to de, you know, Stanley Kubrick de-sensitize.
03:16I'm watching.
03:17I got a nice TV in my living room.
03:19I don't know, it's like 80 inches or something like that.
03:21Hey, now.
03:22And I'm watching it going like I'm forever scarred.
03:27Ruined, right.
03:28Because that screen at Cosm in the arena, they have an arena and they have a sports bar.
03:33The sports bar will be the biggest, coolest sports bar Atlanta's ever had.
03:36Forget about that for a second.
03:37Go up the escalator to the arena.
03:39It is the sphere for sports.
03:43Smaller version.
03:44It is so over the top that I'm having an event.
03:47I got a business event that I'm hosting on Wednesday night.
03:51Thankfully, it's a happy hour.
03:52And then I just called a dude.
03:53I was like, can we get a van?
03:54I want to bring like 12 people down to Cosm because that's how cool this place is.
03:58It's spectacular.
03:59I figure, listen, I know it's twice in five days, but it's the NBA finals and I'm out of town
04:04after.
04:04And I don't want to miss seeing a game there.
04:06I would you ask some questions because I first of all, I love that you sold this so well.
04:11And for you to go on and on, it must be spectacular.
04:13But I need to know.
04:15So on a given college football Saturday, what games are they showing?
04:20So if I'm going to let's say they're going to play a Florida State Miami, which they probably want to
04:25be more local.
04:26Let's play a Georgia Alabama game is going to be on.
04:29When does that announced?
04:31When can you reserve a spot?
04:32That's a great question.
04:33So I don't.
04:34The Braves game, is it going to be or is the Braves Phillies game going to be shown in September?
04:41That's a really good question.
04:42So ask them tomorrow.
04:43Just know that the sports bar will have all that, right?
04:46So the sports bar is going to have it.
04:48So Cosm is showing both nights of SummerSlam, August 2nd and 3rd, WWE's biggest event of the summer.
04:54It's basically WrestleMania.
04:55That's going to be wild.
04:57In the sphere room, as we'll call it, for lack of a better word.
05:00It's called the arena.
05:02So have you been on the Cosm website?
05:03Does it list what events will be shown?
05:06I have not.
05:06They just sent out email blasts to everybody at private that's on the WWE email list.
05:11Yeah, I don't think that the Braves game on a Wednesday night will be on those in that theater.
05:16It's a theater.
05:17It's an arena.
05:18I know that the sports bar...
05:20So for something else going to be on, is what I'm asking?
05:22No, I don't think so.
05:23I don't think it'll be open every single night for...
05:25Because they're selling tickets.
05:26These are like buying a ticket to a Braves game, except more expensive.
05:30They're like $50, $80, $100, $150 tickets.
05:33It's got its own bar.
05:34I think they will schedule.
05:35So Georgia football absolutely is going to be something they schedule specifically.
05:41Any Falcons game they'll have up there because you're right...
05:45When I tell you you're right next to Mercedes-Benz, you're staring at the stadium.
05:50That's how close Cosm is.
05:51You're staring directly into the stadium.
05:53Oh my God.
05:55So, okay.
05:55Here I see sold out.
05:58Tomorrow night, sold out.
05:59Thursday the 11th, sold out for Mexico, South Africa, soccer.
06:05Sold out.
06:06And then they don't...
06:07I don't see...
06:08Oh, you just go down the list.
06:09Oh my God.
06:10So this is great.
06:11June the 11th, 8 p.m.
06:14Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Shared Reality.
06:18So y'all, this is cool.
06:19Here's the website and click on a day and then they're going to show Friday the World
06:24Cup USA and...
06:26What time is that game?
06:27That is 9 p.m.
06:29All right.
06:29So think about going to Cosm a night out in Atlanta and you end up saying, let's go watch
06:35USA soccer at Cosm.
06:38Listen, we've been here a long time, Sandra.
06:40We get invited to a lot of cool things.
06:42There's not a person that's not going to come to me and say, dude, you did not overstate...
06:46Oh, I just love that.
06:47You didn't overstate this thing at all.
06:49In the world, there's three of them, right?
06:52One of them's in LA, I believe.
06:56Is there one in Texas?
06:57And us.
06:58And we're the newest.
06:59So I talked to one of the guys that is involved in the business.
07:03Our screen is rounded, Sandra.
07:07So it used to be if you're sitting on the far right or far left, the view is not the
07:11same because it's just, it's a little choppy.
07:14Now they've rounded the screen.
07:15So we're the first one with a rounded screen.
07:17So every single seat in the arena is phenomenal.
07:20First game.
07:21Oh my God.
07:22The first game of World Cup is Thursday, Mexico, South Africa.
07:28Yeah, it's sold out.
07:29It's already sold out.
07:29I'm talking about just in general.
07:31Yeah, sold out at Cosm.
07:32So it's out at Cosm.
07:33So y'all, so go into August.
07:34Now I'm obsessed.
07:36August the 1st at 3.30, you can go sit in O, Cirque du Soleil.
07:41After this whole Harry Potter thing.
07:43So this is really, and the SummerSlam, like you mentioned.
07:46It's like Sphere.
07:47I mean, it's really like the Sphere.
07:48Oh my God, y'all.
07:49If they start doing concerts, can you imagine?
07:51Well, the technology is just, it's beyond, it's just like.
07:54Man, that's so great.
07:56It's the future of watching sports.
07:57It's their own cameras.
07:58Just so you guys understand, they do not take the TV feed.
08:01The TV feed is what it is.
08:04It's the same feed ASPN.
08:05This is a completely different set of cameras.
08:08In the case of the finals, they got five cameras.
08:11And it's like you're sitting behind the basket for a lot of it.
08:14A lot of the camera used is behind the basket on both sides.
08:19I think you asked that question, Bo, or somebody did.
08:21Like what happens when the ball's on the other end of the court?
08:23They have cameras behind both.
08:24Then they have the two mid-court cameras.
08:26But most of what you're watching, it's like you're sitting front row behind the basket.
08:32That's so great.
08:33So, like, if you want to see if a guy's open, like TV feed, you can't see if they're denying
08:39the ball from Wemby who's off camera, right?
08:41Yeah.
08:42If you want to watch Wemby, you can watch him the entire time and watch him run their offense.
08:46And you can realize that he's wide open.
08:48Or you can watch Karl-Anthony Towns, a 40-fit version of him, D-ing up Wemby.
08:53Even though the ball and the TV coverage is just showing you the other side of the court,
08:58you can just say like, oh, look at Towns and Wemby mixing it up.
09:01That is crazy.
09:02I know, it's crazy.
09:03I told you the thing, like, if somebody tells you, there's going to be some of those Coldplay moments, I
09:09promise you.
09:10Right, right, right.
09:11Dude, you can sit and watch somebody in a seat in the 14th row and see everything they do the
09:19entire two and a half hours.
09:21You can see how many refreshments they got.
09:23And it's actually, because the screen's so big, you know, sometimes your iPhone gives you a bigger,
09:30you can take a picture, but then you can blow it up.
09:31But it's so blown up that normally if we were at a game and we wanted to be like, I
09:35want to see a stand we're sitting with,
09:37we'd be kind of looking, it'd be hard to see exactly.
09:39Right.
09:40It's so big that you're literally seeing people in the stands.
09:44And you can see every single thing going on.
09:47So, like, if some dude is like, oh, yeah, me and my buddies, we're going to the game.
09:50It's, yeah, it's a business thing.
09:53And then it's like, Jeff, who are those three ladies sitting there next to you?
10:00Because I didn't see a lot of business associates.
10:02That's hilarious.
10:03No, I'm not even, I mean, like, you see everybody in the stands.
10:05So, the tickets for O, for instance, you guys, are $49.50 each.
10:10Yeah.
10:11That's really, I think that's not bad at all.
10:13You know, they're making a ton of money at the Sphere on those Wizard of Oz.
10:17Oh, yeah.
10:18It's $100 a ticket to see Wizard of Oz.
10:20It's more than that.
10:20At the Sphere, more than that.
10:21It's $100 to see their interactive film on nature.
10:24It's super expensive.
10:25So, that's, they understand there's a lot of ways to skin a cat.
10:29Yeah.
10:29But to sit there and watch Harry Potter on those screens will be phenomenal.
10:32I'm going back.
10:33And, you know, if I'm going to the same place, two nights, you know, two out of four nights.
10:37It's so true.
10:38I'm really, really excited for this place.
10:40I'm excited for folks.
10:41Yeah.
10:41And where is it?
10:42Tell me exactly where it is.
10:43It's, like, literally directly across the street from State Farm.
10:46Oh, my gosh.
10:46So, where that CNN deck used to be.
10:48Yep, yep, yep.
10:49That's where it is.
10:49Oh, my gosh.
10:50But it's off even farther towards Mercedes-Benz.
10:53So, to the left is the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
10:56We'll call it that, even though FIFA tells you it's the Atlanta Stadium.
10:58And to the right is State Farm Arena.
11:01And they haven't even scratched the surface.
11:03Chops is opening a 14,000 square foot.
11:05Veruni Napoli is opening there.
11:07I met the owner of an Irish pub that's going to be right there.
11:10Great Irish dude who's got pubs in other cities.
11:13He's building one there.
11:14I talked to him.
11:15They're changing Atlanta.
11:16It's going to change downtown Atlanta.
11:18Super excited.
11:19And we're going to crush.
11:19The World Cup games in that building, when we get into round of 32, round of 16, round of 4,
11:27are going to be bananas.
