00:00The 2026 World Cup Final won't be played with the same ball used throughout the rest of the tournament.
00:06For the first time in World Cup history, Adidas has introduced an exclusive match ball for the
00:13semifinals, the third place playoff, and the final. It's called the Trionda Final. And while
00:19it delivers the exact same performance as the original match ball, it features a completely
00:25new design. Its gold finish is inspired by the FIFA World Cup trophy. While the black base
00:32and red and pink accents give it a unique identity for the matches that will decide the next world
00:38champion. The ball also highlights the four cities hosting the tournament's final stage.
00:43Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, and New York, New Jersey. However, that decision sparked criticism. As
00:51many fans pointed out that Canada and Mexico were left out of the main design, making it
00:57seem as if the United States were the tournament's only host. The Trionda Final keeps the same speed,
01:04bounce, and connected ball technology that provides real-time data to help match officials. A brand
01:11new look for the same ball that will crown the next World Cup champion.
