00:00A monument marking the history of the Mersey Tunnels has returned to Liverpool
00:04after decades away from public view. The Queensway Tunnel Monument originally stood
00:10at the city entrance when the tunnel opened in 1934 before being removed during road changes
00:17in the 1960s. The reinstated structure now forms the centrepiece of a revamped public space
00:24at Old Haymarket. Historic tollbooths and a Venetian glass mosaic have also been restored.
