48:00The first thing that I understood in my work is that all these bases,
48:09for having a real relationship with the other, and the culture is a relationship with the other,
48:17you have to first have the ability to listen and observe.
48:28I've had the opportunity to work in different contexts.
48:31Each context has its own story, its own sensibilities, but also its expectations, we can say.
48:41So before we propose, we need to understand, and before we talk, we need to know and listen.
48:47So we can come to an authentic dialogue, and that is something that really interests me.
48:59It is with this spirit that I really want to make an institution an space of dialogue,
49:07and co-creation rather than a place where we will diffuse that in culture.
49:17And I have an example to explain a little bit about this work.
49:24I think I will often address myself on the form of artistic residence, for example.
49:30And we have the chance in this moment, which is the Natura Naturata,
49:36which really offers the opportunity to artists from Italy and Morocco to make a residence croisée between the two countries.
49:46So the call to candidature is open, it will close the 12th of June,
49:52and it will give an opportunity to an artist or an artiste marocain to pass two months to Villa d
50:00'Este,
50:00at Tivoli, which is really emblematic in Italy for, for example, for the Renaissance Italian.
50:09It's amazing.
50:10The residence, the theme is about nature and the landscape.
50:14And we will have an artiste, an artiste marocain and Italian,
50:18who will be here at the National Institute of Beaux-Arts of Tetouane for this residence in October.
50:25And that is a bit of the spirit that we have to work on.
50:32In other words, we insist today on an immense curiosity of the jeunesse marocain
50:36for the cultures of the world, for the languages also.
50:41How do you adapt today to speak to this generation connected,
50:48open to the world and also interested in all languages?
50:54We observe, effectively, an interest that grows from the part of the jeunesse marocain
51:01towards Italy, the culture and the Italian language.
51:05We have, in this moment, 1 200 students who have chosen the Italian language to study.
51:11And that is something of enormous and very interesting,
51:15because it allows us to observe, on return to the discourse before,
51:21the young generation marocain, the potentialities, the interests of the young.
51:27Our goal is to give them a contemporary image of Italy
51:32which is not limited to its historical heritage,
51:35which is exceptional, it is to say,
51:38but which reflects also its current creativity.
51:41This is a variety of disciplines.
51:44It varies, like the cinema, the music urbain, for example.
51:51The cinema is always an actuality.
51:53But also, all these projects where the format artistically
51:58combine them to create something new.
52:01This is something that we are interested in.
52:03And beyond the formats, it comes from the fruit of the youth,
52:07not only an occasion of participation, but also, I would say,
52:17not an occasion for coming to see things, but to participate.
52:22So, to make the spectators an actor of action.
52:28And actors of these events, and thank you, Serena,
52:33Shin Kuegrana, it's been a pleasure to have been invited this evening
52:37to discuss the program of the Institute Italian.
52:39And welcome to you, Maroc, and good luck for your mandat.
52:42Thank you very much.
52:43Thank you very much.
