Ukraine and its key European partners have outlined five principles they believe are necessary for a fair and lasting peace agreement with Russia. Following talks in London, leaders from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany stressed the importance of ending hostilities, beginning negotiations based on current realities, and providing strong security guarantees for Ukraine. They also emphasized continued involvement from the United States in any future peace process. The discussions come as fighting continues across the region, with both sides carrying out attacks and tensions remaining high despite renewed calls for direct dialogue between Kyiv and Moscow.
