00:00Hey, shalom friends. I like to talk about the topic of sex in the Bible. Yes, sex in
00:09the Bible. You know, in today's world, sex is not what it's supposed to be. Got a lot
00:17of heathenistic things going on with it, you know, pornography, adultery, fornication,
00:24things like that, you know, homosexuality. And it's not what Yahweh intended for
00:33people. He intended for it to be one man, one wife, husband and wife. And that's the
00:42right way. And I'm going to read some scriptures and we'll get down to this topic here. But
00:54it states here, this is about Adam and Eve. And the rib which Yahweh Elohim have taken
01:00from the man, made he a woman and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, this is now bone
01:07of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of
01:14man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave on his wife and
01:22they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not
01:30ashamed. So one flesh actually means sexual, sexual relations, you know, one flesh. And
01:39that's what we put on this earth for to reproduce after our kind and after, you know, Yahweh,
01:47you know, I mean, we was in his image and he's producing himself. He wants, you know, a family.
01:54And the thing is, you know, like I said, today, today's world, you know, it ain't like that.
01:59You know, people, you know, they got people like swingers out there. People just want to go out and
02:04get a one night stand, things like that. And that's, it's not okay. It's not okay at all. You know,
02:11I mean, you know, like, uh, Genesis, Genesis four, uh, verse one, Adam knew Eve. And then
02:22for, uh, Genesis four, 17, it talks about how Cain knew his wife and his wife, of course,
02:27was a sister, one of his sisters. That's, that's easily explained because he's the only people on
02:34earth at that time. Now for, uh, chapter four, 25 of Genesis, uh, Adam knew Eve again. And,
02:45and Seth came along because, you know, it's right after Cain, Cain, uh, killed Abel and, uh, and Cain
02:53was gone, you know, or we could go to Matthew, uh, chapter one, verse 25. And it's about Joseph,
03:03Joseph knew, knew Mary, Yeshua's mother after he was born, not before or during, but after he was
03:12born, they knew each other and had other kids, had other children. And it's always debated if,
03:20uh, you know, the other siblings are older than Yeshua. It was Joseph's, you know, kids from another
03:26marriage, you know, I mean, one or two of them possibly could be, but I believe they had, I believe
03:31they had children after Yeshua too, but he could have had a couple of kids before, before Yeshua
03:37was born or before he got with Mary. He could have been a widower. Um, but yeah, I mean, and,
03:44uh,
03:46like I said, you know, in the right way between a man and a woman married, you know, consummate the
03:54marriage, you know, with sex, that's, that's what it is. And it, you know, it ain't just, it's not
04:00just, uh, written for procreation. It's also an, a relationship between a man and woman that nobody
04:07else should have. I mean, you shouldn't have it with a friend or a cousin or a, you know, co
04:12-worker
04:13or anything like that. It's a special united meaning, you know, it's man and wife. It shouldn't,
04:19you know, shouldn't be outside the marriage. It shouldn't, you know, you should be committed to
04:25one person, one person always, but you know, these days, you know, divorce rates are high
04:31and it's easy, it's easier to get a divorce to get married, which I think that's, to me, my opinion,
04:37I think that's ludicrous, you know, I mean, you know, and since divorce is a way out, you know,
04:43easily a way out people, you know, haphazardly get married because they think, well, if it
04:49don't work out, I can just get a divorce real quick, you know, and, you know, they, they,
04:53uh, renege on their contact, contractual obligations, you know, I'm not saying it's
04:59either, either goes either way, man and woman, that's how they think these days and it's not
05:03right, you know, no, Adam and Eve, you know, that's the right way about they, you know, had
05:09sex because they were married. Abraham and Sarah in Genesis, they were like that too. Like
05:15I said, Joseph and Mary, you know, Yeshua's parents, Zachariah and Elizabeth in the New
05:22Testament, you know, the, the parents of John the Baptist. He was a, he was a priest, of
05:27course, and he followed those rules, Isaac and Rebecca, you know. Now, Isaac could have
05:34had, like Abraham, Isaac too could have had concubines, which, you know, I, you know, Yahweh
05:41permitted it to have more than one wives and concubines. He did that for his own reason.
05:47I don't, you know, I'm not questioning it or anything. I don't, I don't believe in polygamy,
05:51you know, and, you know, it's kind of strange in the Bible, it doesn't have a clear, a clear
05:57understanding that it's, it's a sin to have more than one wife, but I wouldn't have, I don't
06:02encourage polygamy because there's so much problems and troubles behind that, you know,
06:06financially, jealousies, you know, all kinds of things, but, you know, I just, I don't
06:12agree with that, and the, the book of, the book of Solomon, the song, I mean, the song
06:18of Solomon is filled with love and sex and things like that, you know, I mean, I covered,
06:24I covered that book in, in a past episode. Now, the wrong way, the wrong way about sex is,
06:32you know, you got Lot and his daughters, and of course, you know, it happened. He thought
06:36they were the last people on earth after, you know, Sodom was destroyed, so the daughters
06:41went ahead and got their father drunk and basically raped them, you know, and had children, you
06:47know, Moab and Ammon, they were, you know, inbreeds, basically, but they became a, became a multitude
06:55of peoples that caused Israel trouble, you know, later on in the epic tale of the Bible.
07:04In my opinion, Adam and, or Abraham and Hagar, because Abraham was promised by Yahweh, him and
07:10Sarah would have a child, and it was Sarah's idea to try to quicken that promise and help Yahweh
07:16out by giving Abraham seed. And of course, you know, Sodom and Gomorrah, that's, that's the wrong way
07:23for sexual, you know, sexual relations. You got, in Genesis, you have Judah and Tamar, the story
07:29about her dress, disguising herself as a harlot to get pregnant by him since his two sons died
07:36without giving her baby, you know. And then in the New Testament, Herod, Herod and Philip's wife,
07:43his brother's wife, you know, she left Philip to go with Herod for, probably for her own agenda,
07:51you know, or, you know, stepping stone, you know, but that was wrong. John the Baptist,
07:55was, he tried to correct them, and he told them both, all of them, that was wrong, and
08:00it cost him his head. You know, unfortunately, it did, but, and, you know, in the seventh commandment,
08:07you know, he says, you know, you shall cannot commit adultery. And that was, that's because,
08:13you know, it hurts people, and it hurts, it hurts our creator, but it hurts people, you know.
08:18So, it, it, you know, just ask people that, you know, ask people that you know that's been cheated
08:23on, how, how it affected their lives. And, you know, it affects their lives to the day, too,
08:28because they don't forget it, and it's hard to trust people again, you know. You look at them,
08:34and you carry that baggage over to another relationship, and insecurities and jealousies
08:39and everything, you know, pops up all the time. But, you know, there's very, there's very,
08:46very, very few people that honor the marriage covenant. You know, very few. Like I said, the
08:53other, other people just, they get tired of, tired of each other, and go their own separate ways.
08:58They might meet, try to meet other people while married. You know, it's, it's easy to fall,
09:03it's easy to fall in love, but it's a lot harder to maintain that love. You know, I mean,
09:10it's just, these, like I, you know, these days, it's, you know, this world is, you know, ruled by
09:15the devil, Satan himself, and he's, he's enjoying all this, and watching us, and we're supposed to be
09:22ambassadors to Yahweh, our creator, and we're supposed, we're supposed to be behaving decently
09:28and morally, but we're not doing it. You know, it's just that, that thing about carnal man, you
09:36know, carnal, carnal man, he's still flesh and blood and human, and they, you know, fall to
09:43temptations, you know, you know, they're weak, and they, they need, they need prayers, they need
09:51the Holy Spirit, they need scripture study, they need Yahweh. That's what it is. He can heal.
09:57All you got to do is ask. You got to ask, and you got to pray with a whole heart,
10:02sincerely. You
10:03got to pray. But these, I just want to, you know, talk about, talk about the topic of sex, you
10:10know,
10:11maturely and everything like that, you know, and it's not, this is not meant to be a perverted,
10:17dirty thing, because the Bible's full of, you know, subject of sex, sexual relations, and things like
10:24that, you know, good and bad, and the good is what we should, we should learn from the good,
10:28and the bad way, we should learn, you know, learn a lesson too, what not to do, because it's not
10:35healthy for us, you know, got sexually transmitted diseases out there. These days, there's unwanted
10:40pregnancies over affairs or one-night stands or something like that, and there's always a victim
10:47in it. Yahweh, yeah, sure, Yahweh's a victim, of course, but there's always a victim, and it's not
10:52pretty, man. You know, somebody says that they love somebody so much, but they can do something
10:57like that to the person they love. You know, that just tells you, you know, if they can do that
11:04to
11:04somebody they love, harm somebody and hurt them, they can do it to anybody else. I mean, anybody else
11:09in any different ways, not just adultery, just anything, because they're selfish, and they're thinking
11:14about themselves. That's not the right way to live. That's not the way of life. You know, we should
11:22love our brothers and sisters, and we should have self-control. You know, that's a hard thing to do,
11:29being in the flesh and blood, but we should do that. But anyways, just let me know what you think
