00:00Let's check in with Rochelle for tonight's weather forecast.
00:04Thank you, Vash. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:07It probably doesn't feel like it after the holiday,
00:10but today is a Friday and time for your weather forecast.
00:14Today, we got some cloud cover for majority of the day
00:17with periods of rain in most areas.
00:20But I know that was no shock to my viewers
00:23because you guys got the heads up.
00:25And the ones who scampered for shelter,
00:27get with the program and tune in to TV6 News for your weather.
00:31Now, if you're looking to celebrate your Friday night outside,
00:34you can expect clear conditions that will gradually give way
00:38to cloudy periods with showers after midnight
00:40with minimum temperatures at 25 degrees in Trinidad and 26 in Tobago.
00:46And tomorrow, you will wake up to that pitter-patter sound of rain on your roof.
00:51As the Met Office says, expect a few showers during the morning
00:54that can become thundery in a few areas.
00:57But don't worry, you can still enjoy your Saturday
01:00because by early afternoon, we will get sunny and breezy conditions.
01:05Daytime temperatures are expected at 31 degrees in Trinidad and 32 in Tobago.
01:11As for our good friend Sahara Dust,
01:13well, she's giving us an ease-up for the weekend.
01:16So if you take a look here, you will see not much activity happening.
01:19So that's a good thing.
01:21Now, let's take a look at what the next couple of days will bring.
01:24More cloudy periods with intermittent showers on Sunday,
01:28but brighter days ahead with sunny, hazy, and breezy conditions
01:32over most areas on Monday.
01:34Tower sun times now in Trinidad.
01:36Sunrise is at 543 and 538 in Tobago.
01:39And sunset at 626 in Trinidad and 623 in Tobago.
01:43It's the weekend.
01:44So if you're planning on indulging in some sand, sea, and bacon shock,
01:49here's what you can look out for.
01:51Seas will be moderate with waves 2 meters to 2.5 meters in open waters
01:55and below 1 meter in sheltered areas.
