Fear Factor: House of Fear - Season 1 Episode 11 - 48 Hours of Fear 1
Transcript
00:00Hello, I'm Johnny Knoxville.
00:03This is Fear Factor, 48 Hours of Fear.
00:06Here we go.
00:08Welcome to a two-part sleep deprivation special.
00:11Ow!
00:13Six strangers dropped in our remote, isolated location.
00:18They'll compete in five epic challenges over 48 hours.
00:24You can do this.
00:26That will push them to the limit.
00:29Don't let go.
00:30This has got to be unhumane.
00:32Evil sushi is a hand roll, sheep tongue, and organ fat.
00:36Hopefully it doesn't smell too bad.
00:38It smells terrible.
00:41Between the screams, they'll hang out at the Fear House.
00:45Alliances need to be formed.
00:46Guys, guess the girls.
00:47But what makes this special really special is this.
00:51No one can go to sleep.
00:54That's right.
00:55If you want to win, do not close your eyes.
00:59Or you're going to get shocked like this.
01:02Ah, ha, ha!
01:04We have to wear shock collars?
01:06I'm so sleep deprived.
01:08This is hell.
01:10On the line, $50,000.
01:13Ha, ha!
01:14And one of them will earn the cash and the right to say fear is not a factor.
01:24Ha, ha!
01:24Oh, shit!
01:25Ow!
01:25What the f***?
01:28The stunts you are about to see were designed and tested by professionals.
01:32They are extremely dangerous and should not be attempted by anyone, anywhere, anytime.
01:48I'm so scared.
01:51Being here, I feel very anxious.
01:53I'm not going to lie.
01:54I'm shaking like a stripper.
01:56But I am here to face my fears head on and to play for my mom.
02:04My mom was diagnosed with cancer and it was very eye-opening.
02:08It made me realize, like, life is really, really, really short.
02:11Fear is holding me back from experiencing things that I should be able to experience.
02:20I'm stoked.
02:21I'm super excited.
02:23I am a adrenaline seeker.
02:25Last year, I was on Extracted with my dad and my dad was in the woods for 21 days.
02:31100% the person that I look up to the most is my dad.
02:35I know I have to prove to my dad that I am tough and I have the same grit and
02:38determination to win.
02:40It's my time to shine.
02:42I'm very nervous.
02:44I am very anxious.
02:45My mind is going, uh, everywhere.
02:49I was raised in a very, very strict religious home.
02:52I am a gay man for a long time.
02:54I told people I was straight because I was afraid that I would lose friends or people wouldn't speak to
02:59me.
02:59It held me back from being who I really was.
03:02And so I am here to face some real fears.
03:04If I can get through this, I know I can do anything in life.
03:08Oh, my God.
03:09It's Johnny Knoxville.
03:12Ah, ah, ah.
03:14Good morning, everybody.
03:16Welcome to Fear Factor, 48 Hours of Fear.
03:19A special edition designed to push you further than ever.
03:24I'm Johnny Knoxville and just super thrilled to be here with you.
03:29What's going on in your heads right now?
03:31Anxiety.
03:32I'm sweating so hard.
03:33This is insane.
03:34We're going to have fun.
03:36Yeah, yeah, coming for you, Johnny.
03:37Okay, I say, okay, I'm going to have fun.
03:40I know.
03:41Maybe not you.
03:43You six are here because you each have very real fears that have been controlling your life.
03:50Now you're about to face them down.
03:55So over the next 48 hours, you will compete in five epic challenges.
04:01And in the end, one of you will take home $50,000.
04:07Yeah.
04:08That's a decent check for two days' work.
04:10It's not going to be easy.
04:13Now these challenges are designed to push you past your limits, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
04:22Win them and you're safe.
04:24Losing them means you go home early and empty-handed.
04:29Between these challenges, you will return to our plush and luxurious fear house.
04:36There, you'll get to know each other and start deciding who you can trust and who you need to take
04:42out.
04:43But there's one critical thing you will not be doing there or anywhere.
04:51Sleeping.
04:57Like, legit no sleeping?
04:59Legit no sleeping.
05:01No sleeping, really?
05:02Wait for 48 hours?
05:03Are you serious?
05:05Yeah.
05:05You got to stay up.
05:06That's what makes this special so special.
05:09That's gotta be a joke.
05:11No, he's being dead ass.
05:13I nap three and four times a day, so I'm very nervous now.
05:18Oh, man.
05:18Very, very, very nervous.
05:20I work as a travel dental hygienist, so I'm constantly moving and sleep deprived.
05:26But 48 hours of constant challenges, constant fear.
05:31I have no idea what I just walked into.
05:34Let's get to your first challenge.
05:37We call it computer bugs.
05:40And it's your chance to win an early advantage in the game.
05:44This will test your fear of these.
05:48Darkling beetles and all kinds of other disgusting insects.
05:55So here's how it's going to work.
05:57You will touch the computer screen, which will display a sequence of numbers.
06:01You have only a couple seconds before it disappears.
06:05That number you see on the screen is the number of darkling beetles you've got to put into each test
06:13tube.
06:15And the way you do that is with your mouth.
06:21Oh, my goodness.
06:23I don't know if you picked up on the smell, but they stink.
06:26Oh, God.
06:28The thing should not be the bugs.
06:30I mean, come on now.
06:31This is crazy.
06:36It's just nasty.
06:37I do not want to do this.
06:39Oh, my God.
06:42Brother John, you've got to be kidding me.
06:46I'm not looking forward to this.
06:48Once you think you've got the correct number of bugs in your tubes, hit the button to lock in your
06:53answer.
06:54The person who does this in the fastest time wins.
06:57And they get a huge advantage.
06:59The winner of this challenge is safe from elimination today.
07:03Everyone else will be at risk for our first elimination.
07:07That's right.
07:08One of you is going home before the sun sets.
07:12So how's everyone feeling?
07:14Nervous, excited.
07:15Out the roof now.
07:16Well, I was excited until that.
07:21Well, honestly, what do you think is going to happen coming on Fear Factor?
07:26Well, I thought it was, like, you know, fear, discomfort.
07:29Fear, discomfort.
07:30Fear, discomfort.
07:3248 hours of discomfort.
07:34Yeah.
07:35All right.
07:35You're going to play in groups of three.
07:38Jeff, Adrian, and Blake, you are up first.
07:42Everyone else, it'll be your turn to put bugs in your mouth real soon.
07:45For now, go to isolation.
07:48Ha-ha.
08:00I am scared of beetles, worms, bugs, spiders, snakes, anything that crawls.
08:05This is, like, literally my worst nightmare.
08:08All right.
08:09Ready, set, go.
08:15Each number corresponds to how many beetles go in the test tube.
08:21One, two, five, one, three, two, five.
08:23Oh, boy.
08:23Blake is in there first, then Adrian, now Jeff.
08:27Oh.
08:27They just need to pick up that black darkling beetle.
08:30Oh, my God.
08:30And they can't use their hands.
08:33Okay.
08:33Okay.
08:34Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
08:36Ever since I was a kid, I've had just an extremely strong sense of smell.
08:40And eventually, I was told I had synesthesia, where certain smells make my body feel something.
08:46These beetles smell.
08:48My body feels slimy.
08:52It's not easy getting those beetles in the tubes.
09:00Jeff is trying to get it in that test tube.
09:03I hear the darkling beetles secrete some type of fluid, but I'm no scientist.
09:08That's just what I hear.
09:10Oh, Blake's going for a second.
09:13Yeah, you got to have the right number of beetles in those tubes, everybody.
09:18Growing up, my dad was a huge outdoorsman.
09:20Bugs, roaches, spiders, you name it.
09:23I've seen it.
09:24But letting them crawl on me or eating them is far beyond anything I've ever imagined.
09:36It's very close between Jeff and Blake.
09:40Adrian's having a little difficulty.
09:42I understand.
09:43It's early.
09:44Hopefully, it doesn't smell too bad.
09:46It smells terrible.
09:52Oh, my God.
09:56Oh, my God.
09:57Ow!
09:59Oh, my God.
10:00Come on, Adrian.
10:01You got it.
10:02Ow!
10:02Oh, my God.
10:03Oh, you can get it.
10:04You can get it.
10:05Go for it.
10:05Go for it.
10:07Oh, my God.
10:08Oh!
10:15You got to get through those worms to get to those beetles, Adrian.
10:20No!
10:21Oh, my God.
10:23Oh, no hands.
10:24No hands.
10:25Or teeth.
10:26Sorry, sorry, sorry.
10:29Man, Blake is blazing.
10:33He's currently in the lead with seven beetles.
10:35Ow, ow, ow, ow.
10:37They bite!
10:49And Jeff seems to be doing pretty good.
10:52His blowing technique has helped him catch up to Blake.
10:56Oh!
10:58Oh!
10:59Mmm, that a girl!
11:00Way to go!
11:01Come on, Adrian!
11:03Oh, my God.
11:05Oh, boy.
11:06You got to be careful.
11:06Oh, one's coming out.
11:07He got it.
11:08He found it.
11:08He got it.
11:09Oh, they're all coming out.
11:11You got to...
11:11It's difficult keeping those beetles in there.
11:14They want to escape.
11:17Kind of like Adrian wants to right now.
11:19Ow!
11:20You're doing great.
11:21Oh, my God.
11:22You got it.
11:22You got it.
11:23Chin it.
11:24Chin it.
11:25Oh, you can get it.
11:26You can get it.
11:27You can get it.
11:28You can get it.
11:28Oh, my God.
11:33Ooh, Blake is on his last tube.
11:41It's very close between Jeff and Blake.
11:43Very close.
11:51Oh, Blake dropped.
11:53Oh, ****.
11:54Jeff dropped.
11:55He's got to go back.
11:57Oh, man.
12:00Oh, my God.
12:01This is tight.
12:03Oh, Lord.
12:04It's anyone's game now.
12:07If they have their numbers correct, it's going to come down to the wire.
12:13And maybe.
12:14We'll see.
12:15We'll see.
12:16****.
12:17Blake got bit.
12:18Oh, he dropped it.
12:20Oh, Blake's on the neck.
12:24And...
12:25Oh, Jeff has hit the buzzer.
12:27We got to see if he's got the correct number of beetles in each tube.
12:31It is correct.
12:32Jeff is the winner of this round.
12:35Way to go, Jeff.
12:36Thanks.
12:37You were the fastest in this round with a time of five minutes and 47 seconds.
12:42Remember, there will be one winner from each group,
12:45but only one person with the fastest overall time will be safe from elimination later today.
12:51When I first saw the bugs, I wanted to run.
12:54It grossed me out, but I just did what I had to do.
12:56So I am proud of myself and amazed.
13:00If the next group doesn't best your time, you win.
13:03You guys head to isolation.
13:07All right.
13:08Everyone's here to face down their fears.
13:11You can do this.
13:12Remember, the fastest overall time wins safety
13:15and does not have to compete in their first elimination challenge later today.
13:21My kids are going to think that I am the coolest dad ever.
13:25The most important people back home for me, hands down, is my wife and two kids.
13:30I signed up for Fear Factor, hoping it will help me be a better leader around the fire department
13:36and show my two kids that it's okay to be scared every once in a while, as long as you
13:40grow from it.
13:42I am 25 years old, almost 26, and I do not have a current job right now.
13:48I am 100% looking for my direction.
13:50I don't know what I want to do, who I want to be, where I even want to live.
13:55Fear of the unknown is definitely the biggest factor that holds me back in my life.
13:59I'm ready to take risks, do things that scare me, and that's what I'm trying to do here on Fear
14:04Factor.
14:07I'm really confused about why I'm on Fear Factor, but, I mean, who doesn't like money, right?
14:15I am an attorney and interior designer.
14:19I can do your divorce and decorate your house.
14:25I know that there are going to be things on here that people are going to be like,
14:28Meg would never do that, but give me a challenge and tell me I can't do something,
14:34and I will prove you wrong.
14:35I don't know how much I'm thrilled about eating a bug, but, you know.
14:41I mean, yeah, YOLO.
14:45Ready, set, go!
14:52Oh, boy, here they go.
14:54They're going headfirst into the trough.
14:59Yeah, you got to watch out for the secretions of those beetles.
15:04Tatum is smoking right now.
15:10What, Meg?
15:12Some screams for Meg.
15:15Meg.
15:17Oh, my God!
15:20Brian's doing very well.
15:24And don't think about that liquid the darkling beetles secrete when you're going down to get them.
15:30Do not think about that.
15:31It's disgusting, and it smells like cow poop and, like, a dirty petting zoo.
15:38There's no way this is sanitary.
15:40It's not easy getting those beetles in the tubes.
15:43There we go now.
15:44It seems like Brian's really catching up now.
15:49You would think Brian's mustache would be a little help in this.
15:53They're hanging on to it for sure.
15:55Thank one bit me.
16:04He's a real spitter, too, I got to tell you.
16:08Oh, my goodness.
16:10You're doing it, Tatum.
16:11You're doing it.
16:15Oh, man.
16:16Tatum seems to be a little behind at this point.
16:20Yeah, get down there and get it.
16:22Oh, way to...
16:23She's giving it a try.
16:24Way to go, Tatum.
16:25Get that beetle.
16:30Get in there, Tatum.
16:32You got it.
16:33You got it.
16:34There you go.
16:35Get in there.
16:36Be aggressive.
16:36I can't tell them you're in there.
16:38I know, and they keep crawling out, too.
16:43Meg, you got to get through those worms.
16:46Come on, Tatum.
16:48Tatum's running out of steam.
16:51Getting the beetles out of the trough is proving to be difficult for her.
16:58Ew.
16:59Ew.
17:01Oh, Brian's on his last tube.
17:05Oh, Meg and Tatum are really struggling.
17:10Oh, my God.
17:12And now, the real question is, can Brian beat Jeff's time from the first round?
17:17There we go, Meg.
17:19Oh, he's hit the blue button.
17:29It is correct.
17:30We have a winner.
17:31Let's go.
17:32Brian.
17:32Let's go.
17:33Dang it, Brian.
17:34Brian is the fastest in the round.
17:36You had that mustache advantage.
17:37But it's all going to come down to who is the fastest overall.
17:43First impressions of Brian, scary, scary, scary.
17:46He looks like he can lift a big tire or something.
17:49So far from what I've seen, he is going to be a hard one to compete with.
17:53How was the smell?
17:54It didn't smell good.
17:56Oh, that's horrible.
17:57And then that secretion that they put in your mouth, it numbs it a little bit, and then it burns.
18:01It was spicy.
18:02I feel like I'm getting a little bit of lip plumping, though, so.
18:06Yes, just a little.
18:09All right, everybody, great job in your first challenge on 48 Hours of Fear.
18:17Brian and Jeff, you were the fastest in each of your groups, but only one person will be safe from
18:25elimination in the first endgame.
18:27And that winner was...
18:37The winner will be safe from elimination in our next challenge, the first endgame.
18:43And that winner was...
18:49Brian!
18:53Brian, you beat Jeff's time by three seconds.
18:59Way to go, Brian.
19:00You are safe from elimination in the next challenge.
19:04Yes, sir.
19:05I never would have thought that I would have had the fastest time, but...
19:09Well, here we are.
19:09Here we are.
19:12Everyone else, in a few hours, you'll face the first endgame where one of you is going to be eliminated.
19:20I would like to say go back to the house and rest, but you can't because there's no sleep in
19:2448 Hours of Fear.
19:27That was an evil laugh.
19:30Yeah, you're going to get quite a buzz from the next challenge.
19:33Did he say bugs?
19:34Buzz, he said.
19:35Oh, God.
19:43This is sick.
19:45Whoever wins gets to live here.
19:47Oh, God.
19:49Yo.
19:50Check the view.
19:52This thing is absolutely gorgeous.
19:55Biggest house I've ever been in.
19:56I'm from the country, so I don't get to see very many big houses.
19:59What a living room, huh?
20:01The Fear House is really nice, but there's something off about it.
20:06Oh, that's spooky.
20:08There are a lot of creepy things in here.
20:12These beds look so comfortable, but nobody can sleep in here.
20:16I'm super nervous about this whole no sleep thing.
20:20I'm a hard sleeper, number one, and I'm the type that takes multiple naps throughout the day.
20:24But like my mom, she raised us practically on her own.
20:27She's worked so incredibly hard to provide and take care of us, so can I get over these fears to
20:33be able to take care of my mom?
20:35I'm going to try my best.
20:37This is creepy.
20:39Dear Lord.
20:40Tell me we don't have to eat that.
20:45Sushi, man.
20:46This is it, guys.
20:47We're doing it.
20:49We're doing it.
20:50It's the real deal.
20:51We're here.
20:52The Fear House.
20:54We like ate beetles today.
20:56Has anybody brushed since?
20:58I have.
21:01So you're an interior designer.
21:03Attorney first, and then interior designer.
21:07You are a dual hygienist.
21:09Fire captain, and I am a captain down in Florida.
21:13Captain like a...
21:15Like a bow captain.
21:16It's a very, like, hodgepodge-y group.
21:18Mm-hmm.
21:19And you are a...
21:20So right now I'm in between jobs and still figuring out what I want to do.
21:24I need this money more than anything.
21:26I want to start over somewhere new.
21:29I want to move.
21:30So hopefully the next challenge is something, you know, more for me.
21:36Fear factors are dropping early.
21:38Yeah.
21:39For now.
21:39I mean, yeah.
21:40For now.
21:59Are those bees?
22:02I'm so scared.
22:03Hello, everybody.
22:04Come on over.
22:06More fun.
22:07Oh, buddy.
22:10Doesn't look good.
22:12No, not at all.
22:14Ha, ha, ha, ha.
22:16Oh, my God.
22:17Oh, man.
22:20Good to see you.
22:21I hope you got to brush your teeth and rinse out all the beetle secretions.
22:25But take it from me, it takes a week or two.
22:28I know the one thing you didn't do is sleep.
22:31You're now in hour 12 of 48 hours of fear.
22:36Tatum, how are you doing?
22:38Are those tears of joy, I hope?
22:40No.
22:40I'm not happy.
22:42Why?
22:43This is one of my biggest fears.
22:44Oh, really?
22:45I've been stung seven times, eight times, actually.
22:48Well, maybe you're going to double that today.
22:51Oh, my God.
22:52No, trust me.
22:53I had to talk with these bees.
22:56They said they're cool.
22:57I'm so scared.
22:59Yeah, me too.
22:59I'm so scared.
23:00Oh, my God.
23:02This is what I was afraid of.
23:04Bees.
23:05This is my biggest fear.
23:07I am terrified right now.
23:09I can't even sit still in a restaurant if a bee flies up next to me.
23:13I freak out.
23:14Whatever this challenge is, if there's bees involved, I'm out.
23:19There's no way.
23:20Let's get to your next challenge.
23:23We call it the spelling bee.
23:25You will be covered in those.
23:29Bees.
23:30Thousands of them.
23:31That's going to be fun.
23:36Here's how this is going to work.
23:38While you are covered in bees, I will give you a word to spell.
23:42As the rounds go on, the words will become longer and harder.
23:47The first person to spell a word incorrectly will be eliminated from the game and sent home.
23:54No.
23:55Don't be that person.
23:56Now, if you're worried this is going to be tough, you know, being covered in thousands of bees and trying
24:01to spell a minimal sleep, you're right.
24:04You will be stung.
24:05It will hurt.
24:09Brian, you won the last challenge, so you're safe from elimination.
24:14I am so relieved because I'm a pod-up boy from Mississippi and can't spell the word cat.
24:20So, I am so thankful that I don't have to get up there and show how ignorant I really am.
24:26Everyone else, you are at risk for elimination and at risk for getting stung a whole lot.
24:34Now, I'm going to go put on a beekeeper suit because I don't want to get stung.
24:39Let's do this.
24:40Okay.
24:40Let's do it.
24:41All right.
24:42I'm so scared of bees.
24:44I always have been.
24:46My heart is racing and I'm just feeling completely overwhelmed with what to do.
24:51Do I face my fears and just do it?
24:55Or do I say fear is a factor and quit?
25:07All right, beekeepers, bring in the bees.
25:13Okay, they're putting on the queens right now and once they're on, the drones are going to go nuts.
25:19They're going to swarm.
25:21How are you doing over here, Blake?
25:22Not ideal, I'll tell you that.
25:24I've been stung by a bee before but never been swarmed.
25:27I've never had them crawl all over me.
25:29Knowing that I might be getting stung by hundreds of bees, am I going to go into shock?
25:34Am I going to swell up?
25:35Am I going to die?
25:36My mind's in a million different places.
25:38Because I am scared.
25:43And remember, bees react to fear.
25:46You'll need to stay still to prevent yourself from getting stung.
25:50Oh, I'm stung already.
25:52How are we doing over here?
25:54Just trying to keep as calm as possible.
25:56I'm scared as hell.
25:57My anxiety's on, like, a hundred.
26:00Because I feel like if I move, they're just going to attack me.
26:04Oh, my God.
26:05What the f***?
26:07Ow, ow, ow.
26:09Oh.
26:10Ow!
26:10I feel like I'm wearing a bee scarf.
26:13Get off of me.
26:14I'm so scared.
26:16Can we just start the f***ing challenge?
26:20I don't know what bees have against me.
26:22I don't know what I did to them.
26:24But they have some vendetta against me.
26:26And I feel like I'm going to be attacked.
26:30I physically do not think I can do this challenge.
26:32I need help.
26:34Please.
26:37Ow!
26:38Oh, my God.
26:39Ow!
26:40Please, this feels so weird.
26:42I hate this.
26:44Oh.
26:45Ow!
26:45All right, we ready?
26:47Ready as we'll ever be.
26:48Ow.
26:49Dude, they're all over my bees.
26:51Ugh.
26:51This is a sudden death challenge.
26:53Ow!
26:54The first person to spell a word incorrectly will be eliminated from the game and sent home.
27:00Ow!
27:02Ow!
27:02This is round one.
27:04First word goes to Blake.
27:06Hives.
27:09Hives.
27:11H-I-V-E-S.
27:15Hives.
27:16That is correct.
27:18Oh, f***ing ow.
27:19Oh, I got stuck on my right.
27:21All right, Meg.
27:23Your first word is scare.
27:28Scare.
27:29S-C-A-R-E.
27:31That's right.
27:32Ow!
27:33Ugh.
27:33I just got stung.
27:35First word for Adrian.
27:38Anxious.
27:39Anxious.
27:40S-A-N-O-X-I-O-U-S.
27:45H-I-O-U-S.
27:46You are correct.
27:47God.
27:49All right, Tatum.
27:50Your first word.
27:51Are you ready?
27:53Please.
27:55Zerger-phobia.
27:57Fear of vacuum cleaners.
28:00Not now.
28:01Not now, Johnny.
28:02Please.
28:03What?
28:03The real word.
28:04The real word.
28:05Please.
28:06Okay, what's a real word?
28:07Come on.
28:08And I just got stung.
28:09This is a word I use a lot, Tatum.
28:12Panic.
28:14Panic.
28:15P-A-N-I-C.
28:19Panic.
28:19That is correct.
28:21Jeff.
28:22Give it to me, baby.
28:24Sting.
28:25Sting.
28:26S-T-I-N-G.
28:27Sting.
28:28All right.
28:28We are into round two.
28:31Now the words are going to get harder.
28:33Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.
28:35I think an aerobics teacher is going to come in
28:38and do some exercises with you guys real quick.
28:40That's not even funny.
28:42Ow, why are they stinging more?
28:45Ow, ow, ow.
28:46That would be in my room.
28:50Blake, cryptic.
28:52C-R-Y-P-T-I-C.
28:59Cryptic.
29:00Correct.
29:01Way to go.
29:03Let's go.
29:04Meg, your next word is...
29:06Don't mess with me, Johnny.
29:09Your word is quivering.
29:13Quivering.
29:16Q-U-I-V-E-R-I-N-G.
29:24You are correct.
29:25Adrienne.
29:26Yes.
29:28Nocturnal.
29:30N-O-C-T-U-R-N-A-L.
29:36That is correct.
29:39Tatum, are you ready?
29:40Yes.
29:42I got my degree in English.
29:44On a normal day-to-day, I'm very good at spelling.
29:47But when I'm covered in all these Bs,
29:49I'm overthinking everything.
29:50My heart is racing.
29:52Your next word is...
29:53The whole purpose of me coming on this show
29:56was to prove to myself that I can conquer fears.
29:59I cannot go through all this with Bs on my body
30:01just to lose from the spelling.
30:10Tatum, are you ready?
30:11Yes.
30:12Your next word is...
30:16Consternate.
30:23Consternate.
30:24C-O-N-S-T-E-R-N-A-T-E.
30:38Consternate.
30:40That is correct.
30:42Way to go.
30:44Let's go.
30:45I knew college would come in handy.
30:49Jeff, if you don't get this correct,
30:51you are the first contestant eliminated from 48 Hours of Fear.
30:56Okay.
30:57Oh.
30:58Your next word is...
31:03Ghastly.
31:06Ghastly.
31:13Ghastly.
31:16Ghastly.
31:17Ghastly.
31:20Ghastly.
31:21I'm sorry, that is incorrect.
31:24Sorry, Jeff.
31:25I'm sorry, Jeff.
31:26Jeff, unfortunately, you have been eliminated
31:29and everyone else is moving on.
31:31Uh...
31:32Sad to see you go, but fear and your spelling was a factor.
31:38Yes.
31:39Ooh, I just got stung.
31:40I'm feeling a little upset.
31:41I wish I would have made it to the finish line,
31:43but I'm telling you,
31:44this is the greatest experience I've ever, ever had.
31:47I had doubts about doing some of these things,
31:49but I did it.
31:51I realized you only live this life once.
31:53You can't live it not being who you are.
31:56So, this is the first step to more confident, Jeff.
31:59Take care, sweetheart.
32:01Yeah, take care.
32:01Nice job, Jeff.
32:03Could these come off of us now, please?
32:06Ow!
32:06All right, okay.
32:08Get the bees off of them.
32:10Then bring in the snakes.
32:12Jotty, please.
32:13We're getting stung.
32:22Ow!
32:25Oh!
32:25That was so funny.
32:27Ow!
32:27I was so glad I was going to back out.
32:29Even though I was literally in tears saying no,
32:33I'm so proud of myself for actually doing it.
32:35I overcame my worst fear, so I am so happy.
32:39All right, congratulations.
32:41Unfortunately for you, you five are still in this.
32:44Ha, ha, ha, ha.
32:46Your next challenge isn't until tomorrow at dawn,
32:48but that doesn't mean you can rest.
32:51Head to the fear house now.
32:53Just don't fall asleep.
32:55Not that you're going to be able to.
32:58Ha, ha, ha.
32:59Oh, man, I would not want to be those guys.
33:03What happens if you fall asleep?
33:04Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
33:08Ha, ha, ha, ha.
33:17How many times did you get stung?
33:19Ten.
33:20Ten times.
33:21Yes.
33:22Were you moving a lot?
33:23No.
33:24Dude, you lucked out.
33:25I'm not going to lie.
33:26That was...
33:27We've been up for, like, 18 hours.
33:30I don't even know what time it is.
33:31I don't know what time it is.
33:31I don't know what day it is.
33:32Is it Saturday?
33:33No, it's Friday, I think.
33:35I cannot stay up all night and then compete tomorrow, all day.
33:39In the first challenge, I was the only girl.
33:40I was up against two guys.
33:42I thought about that.
33:43I was like, oh, poor Adrian.
33:44I was so nervous.
33:45The guys are quicker.
33:46They're bigger, you know?
33:48I would rather see a woman win in the end.
33:50And I think while we have three women and we can stay as a strong alliance, we should do that.
33:55Yeah.
33:55We've got to walk in.
33:57Oh, I'm scared.
34:09Hello?
34:11No.
34:13Why are you making a face?
34:15Because you're going to pull something.
34:17What's in that bag?
34:18I always come bearing gifts.
34:19Where's everybody else?
34:21Meg, Black and Bright.
34:24Come sit down.
34:26Hopefully everyone likes the house.
34:29Five beds.
34:30We have 4,000 thread count Bangladeshi sheets.
34:34But don't relax too much because we can't have you falling asleep.
34:39And just to help you not fall asleep, I brought you some Fear Factor Friendship Bracelets.
34:53Oh, no way.
34:55Wait, what?
34:56Tatum, it's a friendship bracelet.
34:59We have to wear shock collars?
35:01Well, now, let's not call them shock collars.
35:04There you go, Blake.
35:06All right.
35:06Although, they do function as a shock collar.
35:09I know a shock collar when I see a shock collar.
35:12And who gets the last one?
35:14There you go.
35:17You're going to put them, like, where the electrodes are going on your bicep, where it's going to work.
35:21There's cameras everywhere in here.
35:23So, there's going to be nowhere to hide to sneak away for a quick power nap.
35:28So, don't close your eyes for even a second.
35:32Because then you're going to get shocked.
35:34Are you serious?
35:35Wait, this is actually serious.
35:36George Hyatt, this is what it'll feel like if you fall asleep.
35:44Oh, my gosh.
35:46Full power right off the bat.
35:48And it hurt way more than I thought it was going to hurt.
35:51Like, this has got to be unhumane.
35:54No, no, no.
35:56Oh, my gosh.
35:58You guys get the idea.
35:59No, it's there.
36:02All right, listen up.
36:03Your next challenge is tomorrow morning, and it's all about alliances.
36:07If I were you, I would use this time to get to know each other and really try to connect
36:14with each other.
36:16Because in this next challenge, you can help an ally or target a rival.
36:22So, the whole social aspect is really going to matter.
36:26We have to wear these shock colors, a.k.a. friendship braces.
36:30Plus, Johnny's done threw us out a little hint.
36:33I mean, we're already terrified about what's going to happen in the near future anyway.
36:37Now, we're sitting here thinking, who's my real competition and all that stuff.
36:41I won the first challenge, and that might have put a target on my back.
36:44So, they're probably gunning for me.
36:46I know you guys are running on zero sleep.
36:49And when I see you tomorrow, you're going to have even less sleep, i.e. none.
36:55But I'm going to go get a little shut-eye.
36:57Anyway, I will see you bright and early at sunrise for your next challenge.
37:03And as I like to say, no pain, no gain.
37:09We need to talk about this.
37:10I don't want to get shocked all night.
37:12I am so lightheaded right now, I fear this will kill me.
37:15I'm terrified of the shocks because I know I'm going to fall asleep.
37:20This is so barbaric.
37:33It's almost to have a cup of coffee, ain't it?
37:35That's actually a thing, huh?
37:37We can't go to sleep at all, huh?
37:39Yeah, this is not fun.
37:40Probably, like, wedge yourself a certain way where you wouldn't fall over if you fell asleep.
37:45You know what I mean?
37:45Like, and, like, do one of these.
37:47That's dangerous.
37:47Do you know how many times I've slept like that in the military?
37:50Yeah.
37:50Oh, laid up against a wall and just be snoring, standing up.
37:54We learned how to sleep all kind of ways.
37:57Brian is huge competition.
37:59He is a Marine vet.
38:01This is nothing for him.
38:03But for me, staying up with no sleep has been the hardest thing I've ever done.
38:13This whole alliance thing is also scaring me.
38:16Somebody's going to get booted.
38:18Like, people are going to pair up, and then one person's going to be left out.
38:21It's super important that the girls should stick together and form an alliance to hopefully take out the boys.
38:28I didn't work my plate.
38:30I appreciate it.
38:31If you don't get ahead of it, you get behind.
38:33Yeah.
38:34That's that old ship talk right there.
38:36I know what that is.
38:37I think the boys are going to get together.
38:40Like, I don't know.
38:41I'm super scared.
38:43I don't know.
38:48So, I was in a show called Extracted.
38:52I knew it.
38:52I recognize you.
38:53You really watched Extracted?
38:54Yeah, I did.
38:55Even with my haircut, huh?
38:56Yeah.
38:57Like, the coolest part of that show for me was doing it with my dad.
39:00Yeah.
39:01Well, let me give you a piece of advice.
39:03Cherish every moment.
39:04Yeah.
39:05You know, guys who have a good relationship with their dads, that's like their thing.
39:10Like, a person that they look up to.
39:11You know, your dad's invincible.
39:12Yep.
39:13At this point, I'd say that me and Brian are probably bonding the most.
39:18He's just like my dad and Woody back at home.
39:20You know, my parents had us at a really young age, and I'm sure the times were not always easy.
39:26And somehow, someway, he made a way.
39:28And I salute him for that.
39:30So, I think out of everybody in the house, Brian would be the person that I trust the most.
39:36Who do you think, in your eyes, the biggest competitor?
39:38If it's physical.
39:40I mean, I'd have to pick you first, obviously.
39:43Now, Tatum, she faced her biggest fear today.
39:46She's up there, too.
39:47Ooh.
39:48I think Adrienne might be up there for me.
39:51She's an open book, but I also think she's got some grit to her.
39:55What are the chances of me and you just saying, you know what?
39:58Guys against the girls.
40:02If alliances need to be formed to get somebody else out, that would be a decent strategy.
40:11Really?
40:13My man.
40:14I like it.
40:20We're about to hit 24 hours of being awake.
40:25I'm kind of past tired.
40:28And now I'm just like a zombie.
40:32Ow!
40:33What the f***?
40:34I wasn't...
40:36I was awake!
40:37Oh!
40:39I'm not asleep.
40:40Not asleep.
40:42This is so hard.
40:43I'm losing it.
40:45You have electrolytes in there?
40:47What?
40:48Her own shadow?
40:49Oh, I can't see my own shadow.
40:52I am feeling exhausted.
40:53Meg's hallucinating.
40:55Adrienne's pacing around.
40:56I hear stuff.
40:58Oh, my God.
40:59It is just torture.
41:01This is hell.
41:02But I have to do this.
41:03I am definitely in the most lost stage I've ever been in my life.
41:07I do not have a current job right now.
41:09I'm struggling a little bit.
41:10So if it takes everything I got, I am not giving up.
41:14Ooh.
41:15What?
41:16Why?
41:16Why?
41:16Why?
41:16What?
41:17What?
41:17What?
41:18I just had a good idea.
41:19No, literally.
41:20And I wasn't scared.
41:23What in the world is going on right now?
41:35Hi, everybody.
41:37Good morning.
41:39Good morning.
41:40Good morning.
41:41How's that?
41:42Why the long faces?
41:43You're also chipper.
41:45You know, like sometimes when you get too much sleep and you're tired?
41:49That's how I felt.
41:50How did it go for you guys last night?
41:52Did you get to relax at all?
41:53No.
41:54No?
41:54All right.
41:56Let's get ready for our next challenge.
41:59We call it the pain auction.
42:05Or as I call it, heaven.
42:10Research shows that when you're sleep deprived, your pain threshold is lower.
42:15So this is going to hurt.
42:17I am extremely afraid of how painful this is going to be.
42:21We're in for something terrible.
42:25Oh, Johnny Knoxville.
42:27He's into pain.
42:28I'm feeling like I've just entered hell.
42:35Next time on the conclusion of Fear Factor, 48 Hours of Fear, the pain auction continues.
42:42Don't let go.
42:44And so does the sleep deprivation.
42:47I am so tired right now.
42:50It is impossible to stay awake.
42:53You will get served suck city sushi.
42:56I can't believe.
42:57This sucks for you.
43:00Not for me.
43:01And one thing you shouldn't do when you haven't slept is drive.
