00:04AI has taken the world by storm in recent months, letting humans create high-quality write-ups using only a
00:10simple prompt into an AI chatbot, or creating insanely cool inartistic images with photo AI apps.
00:16What if I told you that none of the faces you're seeing right now are real people?
00:19And what if I told you that new research suggests humans actually think AI-created humans look more real than
00:25real people do?
00:26Researchers used two AI neural networks that mirror the human brain, and they set them to compete against one another
00:31in producing human faces.
00:32These AI, called Generative Adversarial Networks, or GAN, produced better and better fake human faces to the point where they
00:39would be indistinguishable from real ones.
00:41But when testing human ability to discern the difference, they found something odd.
00:44People were more likely to point out a real human face as being the fake.
00:48What's more, they also found that the less attractive the face was, the more likely human participants were to rate
00:53it as more real.
00:54So why is that?
00:55Well, the researchers say we still don't know.
00:57But it highlights a very dangerous issue moving forward.
00:59They explained that not only will it be harder and harder to believe the things we see on computer screens,
01:04but it may also erode social trust or our innate human ability to gauge a person by their face and
01:09trust them implicitly.
01:11but it may well be more likely.
01:11I'll catch up with them in a way.
01:12Let us know about what humans can be able to test them.
01:13Let us know about them.
01:14Let us know about it.
01:14We will be able to think about it.
01:14We will build something for you, and let us know .
01:15We will make you the most negative thoughts on the way.
01:16Now let us know that one of the best ways of not to do the human right.
