00:00I met him from a mutual friend right before I went into the military. I didn't know that he
00:05had other intentions, and as I was getting out of the military, we were still friends.
00:10From there, I remember him coming to me and saying, hey, you're in a relationship, and I like you.
00:16And my thing was, I can't deal with somebody that's in a relationship, nor should you. Like,
00:22that's not good for her. And she was pregnant at the time. So I'm thinking, oh, this is my battle
00:27buddy. He's going to be able to help me out. We can drive back. I'm completely thinking
00:32that he's going to be a good friend. We continue being friends, and he ended that relationship
00:37maybe three to six months later. Fast forward, the baby comes, and she decides that she doesn't want
00:44anything to do with the baby or him. He takes the baby. At this time, I moved to North Carolina.
00:49I
00:50was going to school, transitioning out the military, living my own life, and we decided to start a
00:55relationship at that point. No idea that he was being dishonest to both of us. So I'm traveling
01:00from North Carolina to Georgia just to see him and the baby, because in my head, I'm like, oh,
01:06this lady abandoned you with a newborn.
