00:00He wrote me and he said he was going to come me from LA Comic Con and I tried to
00:04get LAPD to help me but they just didn't. I worked with the owners of LA
00:09Comic Con who were amazing and we had extra security and when he came me we
00:14caught him. He was also stalking Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow at the
00:18time so I thought for sure like their security teams would catch him but no it
00:21was me and we had a million dollars bail which is kind of unheard of. I put my
00:26stalker in jail I think six times now. He still stalks me, he still stalks other
00:29people. I mean I'm so glad that I removed a threat from the community for a period
00:33of years but my stalker has literally spent years in jail over stalking me and
00:38he was trying to write me letters from jail so there's nothing about that that
00:42was helping right. Last year we had an amazing experience myself and a group of
00:46other survivors were invited to speak at the White House which was amazing. So
00:50many things lined up in this way that I have these opportunities and I just
00:54went like because I remember I had nothing to lose I'm like this man's gonna
00:56me right. So I have to be as loud I have to do the thing I have to try and
01:01for me
01:01the healing came through feeling protected and the knowledge and again and
01:04also accepting I'm never fully safe. So even though I got felony stalking which
01:08was four years it's immediately cut in half so you only serve two. So when I'm
01:12meeting with those survivors I'm like these people are all awesome and just
01:16having that support is so meaningful. And by the way when he was released after
01:19serving years he was stalking me within three days he was making YouTube videos
01:22about me. So definitely get intervention and there are things you could do to
01:26protect yourself.
