00:05for £1.3 million. The High Court heard she was struck in Streatham in 2019 while crossing the
00:12road during an emergency response. She suffered serious head injuries and spent almost six months
00:20in hospital and now has life-changing ongoing symptoms. A judge approved the settlement and
00:26said she will never work or live independently again. The court was told she partly contributed
00:32to the collision and damages were reduced by 40%. Adam Clemens for the Met Police said he wished
00:39the woman and her family the very best of luck going forward.
