00:05with publicly controlled services bringing new routes, revised timetables and direct links to destinations.
00:12Changes begin on October 25th, making Wirral the second of the region's six council areas to move services into public
00:19control.
00:20St Helens was the first area to introduce the new operation.
00:23The Liverpool City region says services that currently run every two hours will become hourly on Wirral.
00:29Some routes will also be extended, improving connections to Arrow Park and Clatterbridge.
00:34A new circular service will connect Arrow Park Hospital with West Kerby, Mells, Hoylake, Morton, Shawgall Massey and Upton.
00:42The 414 will be rerouted through Mount Road in New Brighton and Prenton Dell.
00:47Clatterbridge Hospital will be connected with Irby and Heswell through a new service.
00:51The 417 will gain evening and Sunday services, while the 471 and 472 will start earlier.
00:58The 480, 482 and 491 will increase to hourly journeys.
01:04Evening and Sunday services on the 492 and 495 will also operate hourly.
01:09All existing and new services will start with the number 4, meaning the current 17 becomes 417.
