Taiwan’s main opposition leader, Cheng Li-wun of the Kuomintang, is set to visit the United States for a two-week trip that will include meetings with US officials. While Cheng did not disclose whom she will meet or at what level, she said she is willing to do whatever it takes to promote peace, including meeting with US President Donald Trump.
