02:09In the blue corner, fighter from Campton, Germany.
02:15He is 28 years old.
02:16He is 181 centimeters tall, weight 79,50 kilograms.
02:22His professional record is 13 wins.
02:24Five wins with knockout and 1 defeat.
02:28He is an essential candidate for the title of the world champion in the version IBF.
02:34The first number of the national rating IBF is a heavy weight.
02:39The winner of the title IBF Intercontinental is Michael Alphazs.
03:15Fighters
03:16And one defeat. WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and the Ring Magazine World Champion.
03:54WBA, IBF, WBO, IBF, WBO, IBF, WBO, IBF, WBO, IBF.
03:58WBA, IBF, WBO and the Ring Magazine, Dmitry Biva.
04:20WBA, IBF, WBO, IBF, WBO.
04:23Gentlemen, I spoke good here in Brazil.
04:26I want a clean and a fair fight. Watch out, no low blows, no rabbit burns, and I want a
04:34clean fight. Good luck.
04:36The long, eagerly awaited return of the fabulous Dimitri Bivol in his 36th year now, in his 26th fight,
04:46and defending the IVF and WBA, 12 stone 7 belts against another fighter who wants desperately to get back into
04:56the square circle, Michael Eichbarth.
04:59He's boxed only two rounds in the last three years, and now he's in deep with Bivol, but Barry, opportunity
05:08knocks, is what he's waited for his entire life.
05:11Yeah, it is, and you've got to box to your strength, of course, because what you can do is allow
05:15Bivol to dominate the early run.
05:17If he gets into a rhythm, that's what you're done for, that's the end. You've got to try and make
05:20it a hard, nice ball, Bivol early on.
05:23So that might not be boxed into, unfortunately, that might not be boxed into your strength, but you have to
05:28try and be a little bit more aggressive, I feel, for effort.
05:32He is a boxer, more of a counter puncher by trade.
05:38You can't let Bivol lead off, you can't let Bivol dominate.
05:41Both in the black trunk sometimes happens, but the black and silver boots, and the black gloves, of the clinical
05:48Dimitri Bivol, with that jab, and the understanding, the IQ is so exceptional.
05:56Look at the size difference. I'm looking at the poor flow heavy race, but he looks so much bigger, doesn't
06:01he, Bivol?
06:01You're towering over Eifan, who's seven years younger.
06:08Only another 15 fight professional appearance.
06:14Only a sporadic amount of times he's been in the ring, particularly of late.
06:21But, will that be a problem? Dimitri, we know, has been out with back surgery, which he had last summer.
06:29How will that have affected him? At the moment, he doesn't look a problem.
06:33He's just slipped back into the groove, and a left hand, floors Eifer, inside the first minute and a half.
06:40And, welcome to the big lead, for the German.
06:45The count's at nine, his head's clear.
06:48Just didn't see it. Lovely time, long left hook there from Bivol.
06:52Twelve knockouts on the record for Dimitri Bivol.
06:55He's not normally a very fast early finisher, but what a start for the champion from St. Petersburg in Russia.
07:04Just pouring out with the left hand, waiting, maybe, for another shot down the middle.
07:11And that has woken Michael Affan up to what it's really all about at this level.
07:17They didn't look like there was a match on the shot.
07:19Bivol turns his hand over, quite that, I mean, he punches with those front two numbles.
07:23That's where you need the punch.
07:24So, it's a real clean contact at the speed of the shot.
07:28And that's where, that's where the damage is caused.
07:31He looks at a total different stratosphere at the moment, Dimitri Bivol.
07:38And I know it's early, but that punishing jab and the precision, there looks like no ring rust.
07:44After almost 500 days out, he's straight down to business.
07:48The professional man he is.
07:50Combination punching.
07:52Dominant opening round for Dimitri Bivol.
07:55Defending his IVF at WBA, like heavyweight titles.
07:59And it looks like him, to maintain that length, so he can throw that left to go through the middle.
08:05Took out Malik Zinnard and six in Saudi, June 2024.
08:10I wonder what he's thinking here, Dimitri Bivol.
08:13Michael Affan left everything to try and do, getting a jab back together.
08:17He's got to put that first round right behind him and start again.
08:21But the thing is, what all has shown, is that if you make a mistake coming forward, I'm going to
08:27make you pay for it.
08:28So, that's got to make you more defensive.
08:30I hope he really just doubles down and goes, well I'm just going to go for it now.
08:35I think that's the only chance he's got.
08:36Boxing since he was a kid, 250 plus amateur fights.
08:41There's that right hand, the sharp shooter and he looks in a menacing mood as well.
08:46Tonight, Dimitri Bivol, body shot too.
08:48We saw Alan Bedich from Germany fall apart against Hamza Shiraz in a couple of rounds down at Super Middle.
08:55Last week, he was unfortunately, and a lovely guy, but out of his depth, and at the moment, I thought,
09:01is struggling.
09:05Look at the smoothest air on Bivol.
09:08Just looks like he's just not, there's nothing on the shot, isn't he?
09:11He's just effortlessly throws the shot because he, like you see when a footballer kicks the ball, he barely moves
09:17his foot back, but it's about 100 miles an hour.
09:19He generates the power of the shot because he just turns his body into the pitch.
09:22He's trying here, Eifert, put a right hand that he was so far out of range because of that job
09:27for the distance.
09:28That phrase we used earlier, just keep your eyes on the feet, the brain ticking over all the time of
09:36Dimitri Bivol, a supreme boxer, he really is.
09:45Tight defense, Eifert, trying to get closer.
09:52Is it that range there, I felt, where you should put the trigger, but he's thinking, I don't want to
09:56make, I've got to make it perfect, and why do you think that I've got to make it perfect?
10:00You end up doing nothing.
10:01Trying to whip an uppercut in, which is a good shot against Bivol, who's obviously from the old score, that
10:07left hand countering, just the speed he's still got at the age of 35, even after the back problems.
10:14Yeah, he's there, but more than the speed, it's the timing of the shot, because he's timing your movement, so
10:20you're half paying the power forward, helping him out.
10:25And again, you can talk about that being in neutral, that balance, centre in your stance, he's there all the
10:31time, isn't he?
10:34Right hand for Heifert, good effort there, needs to get some confidence after being floored so early in the fight,
10:44there's the jab of Bivol, doesn't want to be on the end of that, needs to move that upper body,
10:49try and get it close.
10:51I'd like to see Bivol just to be a little bit more bullish now, they're pushing him back with that
10:55jab.
10:58Good defence though from Bivol.
11:04Long time for Bivol, he had to get surgery, he had no real choice, but the return is fantastic to
11:12see, but it's good to have Michael Effett back in the ring as well.
11:16He's so inactive, just waiting for his opportunity, and it can be difficult in boxing politics, can't it, you can
11:23sort of miss that moment, but he's only 28, and he's got nothing to lose here, and I was expecting
11:30him to win, so just give it a real go.
11:32And he's a good little boxer as well, he is, he moves well, he punches nice and clean on the
11:37line.
11:39But he's a boxer, and he's a guy who's a master boxer, that's the, that was always going to be
11:44the appeal task for him.
11:48Yeah, the hope maybe that Bivol at this stage would slip slightly, absolutely no evidence of that, fight number 26
11:56for Bivol, only the one defeat on the record, the control, controversial one against Bivol at the first time around.
12:03But if you want to make, these things come into pain, like the injuries, has he recovered from the injuries
12:10in the surgery, is he getting, is he gonna get old overnight, it's gotta be falling at a higher pace
12:16that he doesn't want to fight at.
12:18And the risk of that is, you've got to be more adventurous and go forward, more and walk on the
12:21shelf like he did in the first round, so, you can see where the problems lie, but that's the, that
12:26would be the key to find out if those things are real.
12:29No one doesn't control the distance, he controls the pace, doesn't he? Yeah, but the jab, that is. Absolutely. It's
12:36on his terms, Bivol, and he does it early in a fight.
12:39It's the jab and the timing, because he catches you coming in, and that slows you down to where he
12:46wants you to be, and then you think before you throw, and that's the timing to where you're thinking and
12:51throwing, he's doing something.
12:52In many ways, Craig Richards had the best night, didn't he, against Bivol. Yeah, he did, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:01Absolutely well.
13:03Still going strong, Spider, one of the popular fighters on the domestic circuit, so many light heavyweights joining the queue
13:12to try and become a world champion, but a few of them might be waiting for this guy to move
13:17off into the sunset, do something else, because at the moment he's still the master.
13:22Of this division, and this ring, right hand and the left, it's the speed and the, sheer quality that, it's
13:32been years in the making for Bivol.
13:34Yeah, look at him, touch it, touch him in the eye, I'm not a fan of it, but it works
13:38for him. He spears it out and he touches, touches, and inviting you to come forward, because then, because he
13:43has such good balance, he can take that step back with the back foot, the front foot slides just a
13:47little bit, and then he can catch with that right hand or left kick as you're coming forward.
13:51You're over the foot foot, you're off balance, he's going to really want you. He's sort of set a trap,
13:56you don't even know when he's setting a trap. You think he's making a mistake of giving you an opening,
14:00and what he's doing is he's inviting you to come and get me.
14:03A couple of fights after Craig, I'm in a judgment that this isn't you do, and if you don't, you're
14:13going to pick you off on range.
14:14Call him Diesel, Michael Eifert, a reverse early loss on his pro record, that was over 8 to Tom Zuczki,
14:24beat him over 10 in a rematch.
14:27Good win over Pascal in Canada too, he would become the first German Worldweight Heavyweight Championship, JĂ¼rgen Bremer, a decade
14:36ago.
14:36If he was to pull this on, good fighter Bremer was.
14:45Go, go, go, go, go, go.
14:48Into the fourth round.
14:52Total control so far from Dimitri Bevel who floored I-Van in a flash in the opener. There's that jab,
15:00stunning home, head and body.
15:05Again, because he is quite a cerebral fighter here, Bevel, and that thing about you bringing in the way it's
15:11on, you know, this is set up for him to make a bit of a statement here tonight, that's the
15:15truth of it.
15:16It's not here for spots, it's just that's the level that they're at. So I think he's got to start
15:21being a little bit more thoughtful here, Bevel.
15:23Yeah, you mentioned the word bullish earlier, like in the second round, I thought he was going to really go
15:27for it, having floored I-Van.
15:29I think maybe he'd want to put on that big statement, that reminder to the world that he's still by
15:35far the king at light heavyweight and one of the pound for pound best.
15:39Because people stop talking about you when you're away for a while, you know how this sport works.
15:44But also, I mean, ideally, he could do with some rounds. Just get comfortable, get all that rust off and
15:53so on and so forth and feel good about yourself.
15:55But I still think perception is, at his level, that was quite important to make a statement and certainly, you
16:00know, just to not keep people over-comfortable when wanting to fight you.
16:05Hasn't looked like any rust though and we saw that in the only minute and a half and still with
16:09the jab, he looks razor sharp here, Dimitri Bevel and out of range, I farted.
16:14Just struggling with getting close and being effective and somehow dealing with the uber quality of Bevel.
16:23But he'll be a victim of his own success because he is so brilliant that if this goes to distance,
16:28and I'm not saying this guy, if it goes to distance, then he'll be criticised.
16:32If he stays like this, if every round is like this and he just wins and wins without breaking sweat,
16:36then people will say, nah, she's on one.
16:39And they probably would be right as well. I mean, he's at that level now that he gets criticised for
16:43winning every round because he can do more because he's still good.
16:47And that's what we want for our superstars and he is one of those.
16:50My gut feeling is Bevel won't want to cruise to a points decision here. I think he'll want to get
16:55rid of I thought if he can.
16:57I thought just needs something, doesn't he?
17:03They're so out of range.
17:05Yeah.
17:06He's got a, he's got a statile load. He's got to change it in the combination. I think he'll have
17:11some success.
17:14First round knockdown. Every session to Dimitri Bevel into the fifth. What can Michael Iver conjure up here to try
17:23and get his 14th and the dramatic win.
17:26And, uh, wrench the worldwide heavyweight titles away from Dimitri Bevel at the moment. Doesn't look like he's got the
17:34class and ability, but you never know in this sport. He's still in there. He's still trying.
17:40But he's on the end of this, um, wonderful jab. And the defence as well at Bevel.
17:45Yeah, the feet are allowed to get out there. You see there, if it came forward, then Bevel just slide
17:51in. Again, that two-step rule that I talk about, two-step, then go to the side.
17:54I mean, he does it so well. And just negates you, turns you off straight away.
18:00I mean, if it's a good fighter, you know, he's a nice little boxer, but, I mean, sticking to your
18:07strengths, which I always say you should do, is not going to ruin this fight.
18:09Because, as if it begins to go, he's a better boxer. So he has to try and, try and do
18:13something different.
18:15Incoming in spurts of attacks is good work, but he's just going to head to that all the time, Bevel's
18:21going to skip all the distance and catch you over your front foot.
18:23So, jab to the head, two to the body, and come over the top with the last shot. But that
18:28might bring the hands up and down from Bevel.
18:29And I think that's the worry, that Bevel just targeted the body there, first time in the fifth round. And
18:35as the elbows come up and he tries, I thought, to get his own jab and boxing, there are gaps.
18:41And Bevel will have studied it on tape and he's going for that particular spot with the left hook this
18:48time. Keep your eyes on the bodywork of Dimitri Bevel.
18:52And like all good fighters, they seem to have more time than you do. And you can understand why. You
18:59know, you're like, I'm doing the same as you. You're not faster than me. But yet, you've got all the
19:05time in the world to make your move.
19:06.
19:18Respectful atmosphere watching a master at work.
19:24Yeah, but he is
19:29Should be putting pressure on without taking any risks
19:33I think you do it quite safely first as well once he's done on double jab a bit more step
19:38beyond the shots
19:39I've spoken to his team in the build-up, but I reckon they will be looking at the sort of
19:43six to eight round mark
19:44Like it as he sustains. Yeah to put the combinations together
19:50Softening up like oh, I've got proud of like this
19:53Last 30 seconds of the fifth round and here we go with Dimitri Bivel and beginning now to really unleash
20:01All of his armory on Michael Abbott who's brave and strong and he'll be there as long as he can
20:08But can he withstand the pressure is the quality pressure?
20:13Of Bivel. Yeah, just again there people just went so they go to work a little punch
20:18I was ringside in Monte Carlo right in front of me
20:22And that was the arrival of Dimitri Bivel some years ago and how well he's done to clean up this
20:28light heavyweight world
20:31And stand as one of the pound-for-pound greats of the modern generation
20:35I can't get it closer needs to let the hands go and there will leave him
20:41More open and vulnerable
20:44But you've got to roll the dice, haven't you? This is the chance of
20:48Someone gives you a chance to box for the world title
20:50You say yes in regards to the fighters, someone gives you a chance to box
20:53You know who's going to be a hall of famer and one of the best fighters of this generation
20:59Then of course you do
21:00It's an honour you go and you destroy as you tell your rankings about in years to come
21:06The wand of the left hand from the orthodox star of Bivel
21:13Just at the end of the fifth he began to up the tempo will he do that again?
21:22Look at that
21:24Look at that
21:25Little step and then he said he just turns up for the footy a little bit more waiting for that
21:29jab
21:30Some of the top he hears you see when you see that jab and turn that left with him just
21:34get a bit more push on the shots
21:36My favorite part of you Tommy hurts
21:43Good work though with his left in various ways the jab for sure it looks
21:50And I love his defense gets his gloves up nice and high doesn't
21:55Allow his body to be too exposed either
21:57He just is an all-round great isn't he?
22:03Absolutely fantastic because again like I keep saying all the time there's so truth and a lot a lot of
22:07the groovy top fighters in this generation as well
22:11They do the fundamentals really well
22:14Quite often their hands are high elbows something tight they're punching down the line everything's neat
22:19And that's really good for kids to learn rather not those super flashy stuff where people have to try and
22:25box like nasa or mayweather
22:26You know there's some fighters to do most fighters can't do it
22:30But the everyone can do this not at the same level
22:32But even learn how to do the fundamentals and if you're good at it then you're going to go on
22:36and succeed
22:37Absolutely the youngsters should be watching dimitri bivel and the art of pure boxing and the tactics that he executes
22:45He's having this under complete control from the opening bell and knock down in the first round and at the
22:51halfway stage
22:52Michael efforts done well to get to this point because
22:56You just feel he could turn the switch turn the screw
22:59That you do feel that
23:02Then why is it that would be the big question that's that's going to be the biggest question this slide
23:07slide again
23:08But without any panic about movie not tight really overreaching there was a shots going on the blue on the
23:14void
23:15He's almost anticipate what you're doing and just adjusting his feet
23:18Almost
23:19You think he's still there. He's already gone David. He's a thought ahead of you
23:24Absolutely, right David better view. There's maybe at a cat's weight better be f3
23:29Callum Smith
23:30Um, it's a great light heavyweight division. Zach Shelley
23:35Shocked us all the other day as well, didn't he? Willie Hutchinson's boxing world Ben Whittaker
23:39Where does his future lie? How far can he go at the moment? Dimitri Bivel on the left of your
23:45screens?
23:45You don't need the identification as a boxing fan. You love him, don't you?
23:50In with Michael Emma from Magdeburg in Germany the 28 year old who can learn from this experience
23:57That's a good effort with the left hand and he just doesn't want to have any regrets tomorrow
24:02I thought could say listen like I got beat by the the better guy a level two above me, but
24:07you know what?
24:07I can come again and learn from it
24:10He's having a go within his realm of the way he boxes, you know, he can't
24:15Just go fight with your face all of a sudden and then go I had a really good go
24:18That's not always the epitome of having a go
24:20You have a go with what you're good at. You're trying to get that jab in the play
24:24He is trying to let his punches go in combination
24:26He's just falling short
24:28Or most of the time he's done with a couple of shots, but not enough to make a dent on
24:33the scorecards of course
24:34No better in the seventh round
24:36Decent defense as well, I thought knows his way around a ring now. I guess these
24:41The concentration goes to what does Bivel do next everything has been
24:47So easy really neat and tidy and effective
24:51He's got the knockdown. He didn't go for the early stoppage
24:54Getting the rounds in when does he
24:57Push the paddle
24:58But when he decides for the pace Bivel there's no answer
25:02So there's no worry thing to do that so he can't do it more often
25:07I mean, he's a real thinking fighter, so he's always looking for that clean tide in the hit
25:14So we appear keep happening with that jab and this solid or whipping or soft or touching
25:18But he's always waiting. He won't explode unless he sees the clean target
25:22That was a good combination from Bivel
25:24A touch of damage to the nose of Eifard just made it check momentarily in the seventh round
25:43The jab, how many has he thrown? How many has he squeezed through the guard head and body?
25:49Let's see the hook of the jab and then with that left it on the body. I love the way
25:54he does that
25:55We've seen it a couple of times, but maybe more. There we go
25:58But the back of the right hand
26:01Keep that right shoulder almost over your front knee and just bend the knees and put that left into the
26:06body
26:07Yeah, he was bloody hunting a couple of rounds ago seems to stop that
26:12A
26:13Bugs treasure on the line
26:16This is the first challenge for a world title from Michael. I thought this is a the umpteenth world title
26:22fight for Dimitri Bivel
26:27Listen to the crowd getting behind their hero
26:31He's a
26:32A wonderful ambassador great athlete
26:35Fantastic human being I'm sure I've always say that about
26:39Dimitri Bivel it's been a pleasure to be around him for a lot of his career
26:44And I guess this is the time now, baby. This is what I was feeling eight nine
26:50That he would up it, but maybe not
26:56And to get it's the same thing that you're crazy for you criticising for
27:01His brain
27:03Think if I say don't make it don't make any silly mistakes
27:07Don't take any stupid risks and then and then we start criticising for not taking any risks and not
27:14Being too thoughtful
27:17I think it's very very hard to criticise Dimitri Bivel. Yes, you might want to do my best
27:23You might want more drama you might want to knock out but you know what he's just boxing so well
27:29and he's just a pleasure on the eye
27:34He rarely has a mark on it does he
27:37He just knows the art of defense as well as attack
27:41But I just feel that he might want to make a bit of a statement there. He's targeting the body
27:45again
27:46It's the right sort of time minute and a half left at the eighth
27:49Michael effort will try and swing from the hip a bit more. He knows is a long way behind on
27:55points that will leave openings for Bivel
27:58Yeah, it's timing and balance for Bivel. There's two biggest assets I think
28:03Timing of a shot
28:05The balance that he's always in the good position but every year whatever he is always in a good solid
28:10position
28:12You're never going to hit him when he brings over them too far over the back foot too far over
28:16the front
28:17But even there he looks like he's leaning forward for the jab
28:20He's actually just bends his legs and gets the chest over the front knee so he's still on balance
28:27And everything's still behind the solid penetrating jab of Bivel
28:36What a puzzle for I thought to try and work out and again way out of range and back into
28:41the rounds
28:42This is where people comes to life the left hook to the body
28:45Trying to soften up her and I thought
28:47And then he can maybe go through the gears and find the knockout win
28:53Still plenty of time left championship rounds ahead, but all bread and butter for Dimitri Bivel Michael I thought
29:02It's it's hard to life out there because he's having a goal. He's having no success and he's getting picked
29:07off
29:07They're not power punches and they're not
29:10But yeah, I think I picture the stinging shots because
29:14People hit so correct so correct. I think he felt one or two more in that round the BF and
29:19WBA defense
29:20Let's see you
29:21Michael F up surely is not going to have the answers tonight
29:27And the attention is on whether Bivel can get the stoppage win
29:32And then when he will return
29:39Sort of the curiosity's gone really from from I thought it would be a punch from the gods if he
29:44was to do anything
29:45With there's no evidence of it Bivel now starting to use that jab more aggressively
29:53Well, maybe in my sense if you feel tired at the pace a little bit, but that jabs will come
29:59some way
29:59But anyway for Bivel isn't it always
30:01Always in the face
30:04And again, it's not the fastest, but the timing's really really good. He always finds a home
30:09It comes back in the same line. It goes on back low very often almost almost comes back to the
30:15the chin or the chest
30:16People people again
30:23The crowd thirsty for some blood maybe another knockdown
30:28Sometimes it happens you get a knockdown early in a fight and
30:32It can drift a bit
30:36Oh
30:36Fabio won't be gone. I wanted me against Daniel the bar in the first 15 seconds got another one and
30:42then the block come right back at him, so
30:46That's a good shot from Bivel partially blocked. You could feel the force of it more now. He's planting his
30:52feet
30:56Again, cuz he has such a good box of brain he won't
31:01TV for body body just needs to do to not take any shots and he always did
31:06Not taking the risk. I'm not taking the risk
31:09Systematically work where you got if I can it's going to be at my pace
31:13Look at that just gliding back out of range
31:24He's trying to get that a little bit of a different rhythm trying to change move his shoulders a bit
31:29We can have it to read the people because he almost blocks all the little movements out just concentrates on
31:35that
31:36Almost like a rectangle from you know from your forehead to your sternum
31:39It just concentrates on that movement there as long as I can hit that target the rest of it is
31:43irrelevant
31:47Still chucking out leather high five decent defense at times. He's got the look of a confident boxer
31:55But that jab is a constant weapon for Bivel
32:02And that the Russian crowd are enjoying it now they're watching his craftsmanship
32:14Again at the end of the round just revs it up a bit again Bivel
32:22Is he gonna be happy for a points just try this try that maybe a faint here than there certainly
32:28if you're coming forward
32:29You've got to try and change the levels of the shot
32:30But they know in the corner, don't they?
32:35You've got a feeling we might be over our heads here
32:37But also you're a good boxer yourself, you know
32:39You've got to try and be first with the jab and try and make him react to you
32:44But then when he reacts to you it's much sharper and different and better
32:47You're not sure how you've got to
32:49How your time goes up against his time until you're in the ring together
32:53And when you find out he's nowhere near as good
32:56It's all very well preparing sparring partners
32:58But they can't they can't really reenact the real thing and especially if you find yourself on the seat of
33:03your pants
33:04In a minute and a half to the confidence just ends a little bit it does but you still got
33:08to think
33:09I still don't try and win the fight you can't feel sorry for yourself and we've all been there
33:12You can't feel sorry for yourself. It doesn't matter that you're nine and a half rounds down
33:18It's more than that because of the knockdowns you still got to try and win the next round that's what
33:22you've got to think about
33:25And it's simple you're gonna try and win the fight try and knock him up if you're not a knockdown
33:28puncher that's irrelevant
33:28So you just go along your thing and say and you are taking the knocks and the licks and and
33:33it is what it is
33:39Five knockouts on the slate of the 28 year old from germany
33:4712 for pittles a half of his victories have come inside the distance and you would probably expect this to
33:55be the 13th but not as yet
34:02He just won't make a mistake even then there was a left foot to the body there
34:07He had to overreach to throw it but he still would have landed and his brain is going no
34:12I have admired it it's like no because i'm moving my front foot and that's a mistake
34:18Though he would land and get away with it
34:24It's almost like in the undisputed game the boxing game he's really sort of hit it's almost like he programmed
34:29inside his head doesn't he he's so intelligent
34:33That he just wants to absolutely leave nothing to charge
34:36Yeah
34:40Unless he's forced to like we're going to be at then he should then he'll fight back now i don't
34:45know choice i have to
34:50Distance control
34:53Yeah, put the punches together really well then last 30 of the 10th round here worldwide heavyweight
35:00championship from the karenberg in russia
35:03Because he is for dead like he almost is the right thing there was a tag in the hit and
35:08he didn't show one shot
35:09It's a real combination of punches which means it has at the comfort of it the pinball goes slide slide
35:14right hand over top
35:24Yeah
35:24Michael up let's be brave courageous tough they touch gloves but it will complain about that and maybe opponents will
35:31think
35:32He's thinking too much like all the trouble mate
35:35Overthinking
35:37But isn't he brilliant?
35:39Yeah
35:49Still they love it in russia the homecoming has been
35:56A display of the sweet science
36:00Dimitri bevel certainly hasn't gone backwards in any way after the back surgery 35
36:06Years young and still demonstrating how to control a ring and how to box to
36:14perfect tactics
36:16With no risk
36:18Should he roll the dice should he just go for it?
36:21It doesn't seem like there's any harm
36:23No, we send the walk and down a little bit here
36:26There's a little bit more intense here from bival
36:36The jab the softener the right hand coming up my farm in more of a shell here
36:47The jab coming through the middle as well and yeah, you're right barry there is an intent here from
36:53Dimitri bevel he is up the pace
36:56And he's trying to track
36:59iPhone into corners
37:01He's walking him down here you missed the shot there bival
37:05Not many misses no i'm gonna moon about that no
37:11But he is even when he's put the foot on the pedal it's still
37:16That's that sense of
37:18Caution or discipline calmness yeah, you know
37:22I'm not gonna make any city talking to me myself and the disciplines admiral but also
37:27Oh body shot there was a cracker and i felt that he tried it back in the fourth fifth round
37:34bival
37:34But that was the best yet and it's sunk into the body of iphone a minute left in the 11th
37:41round
37:42He's ready to go here. I think I think another body shot
37:45I think he really was hurt there. He was winded down in the first couldn't go down again in the
37:5211th
37:53Is it time to strike for dimitri bevel and just polish off what's been another sparkling display of boxing
38:03Just giving a little too much time to recover maybe here before
38:07I think he's still hurt i thought i think he's winded by that body shot
38:12And he's crouching up and i think he wants to hear the bell you see the grimace on his face
38:18Can't deal with the hand speed people looking strong late on here there's another body shot
38:24The right time meets the bell here
38:27Well, i can't stand him he's really hurt here he's in a fog michael iphone just about gets back to
38:34his corner look at the legs
38:36There we go dimitri bevel that was a torrid 11th round i think if that had happened in the eighth
38:42or ninth
38:43He wouldn't have got through this but he's got three minutes to survive
38:47But dimitri bevel won't care about that he'll want to get this
38:52Statement victory at the end knocked down in the first minute and a half of the fight
38:57Maybe there's one late on here it's been a totally dominant dimitri bevel performance
39:04He's never looked in any trouble in any bother of defending his ivf and wba
39:11Super world like every weight titles at all in front of this russian crowd the homecoming
39:18No chicks in the armor no
39:20No
39:22No
39:23Many ways flawless they very rarely makes a mistake this mystery with a handful of punches throughout the whole fight
39:28Let alone the wrongs economy rates really good
39:33Clean hitter the feet of all as always a fantastic the balance of distance control is
39:40Here we go the best just almost twist which example a bival which is a rarity back to that orthodox
39:49jab
39:50Maybe chance trying to find one more lethal left hook to the liver
40:01Explode another combination the bival as we spy over the ring there
40:08the concentration
40:10from both of the mike and i thought is trying absolutely everything he can tonight and he deserves enormous credit
40:18Going back to germany
40:21He's tried but in this wrong he's trying to survive there's been a difference here from this wrong for him
40:26You can't believe him you can't blame him you just want to get over the line will he here comes
40:31bival
40:33Will the accelerator push right down to the floor in this last minute
40:38And will he finish as he started with some sort of knockdown now?
40:43He wants it dimitri bevel smelling blood and i father's got just under a minute to survive
40:50to hear that final bell
40:52Good difficulty through a straight shot in the second right hand was above the club look at that for the
40:57german
40:57Really brave gutsy chucking it out has only won a minute of any round here
41:04But he's certainly winning the heart of the german fans he's got back home because
41:10He's almost got 12 rounds with the great dimitri bevel one of the stars of the modern generation
41:17Who is putting on a bit of polish at the end of this one?
41:20He's been majestic from start to finish and he's returning with some pop dimitri bevel
41:27Come on, let's make better bm3 let's have the trilogy 10 to go in the return of dimitri bevel
41:37He's shot from start to finish
41:40And he's hardly got out of second gear michael eifert does hear the final bell and gets a round of
41:46applause
