00:00Tom, you got AOC out there, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Congresswoman, putting out a webinar, doing
00:08a webinar to help illegals avoid, I guess, apprehension, giving tips about how to continue
00:15to remain in the country and ultimately gain the system.
00:20And I sent an email today to the Deputy Attorney General, at what level is that impediment?
00:24Is that impediment?
00:25I'm not an attorney, I'm not a prosecutor.
00:27Is that impediment?
00:28Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts?
00:30If so, what are we going to do about it?
00:32Is she crossing the line?
00:34So I'm working with the Department of Justice and finding out, where is that line that they
00:39crossed?
00:39So maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now, but I need the AOG to opine on that, because
00:44there's an impediment, it's impediment, in my opinion.
00:47I'm not a prosecutor, but we need some further guidance on that.
00:51But again, if we have to take every federal dollar out of the city, we'll do it.
00:54I mean, we're done.
00:55This is about public safety, this is about community safety, knowingly releasing a public
01:02safety back in the public, it's just stupid.
01:05You're putting the public at great risk, you're putting our officers at great risk, you're
01:09even putting the illegal alien at great risk, because anything can happen on an arrest on
01:13the street.
01:13So we just want to make common sense, and sanctuary cities, they want to step aside, step aside,
01:18we're coming, we're going to do it for you.
01:19If you don't want to make your community safer, President Trump's going to.
01:26Hey, I like Tom Homan.
01:28He ain't playing no games, no games.
01:30And it seems like AOC and Democrats are in a bit of a pickle here.
01:34They've gotten themselves in possibly some legal trouble.
01:37We're going to be talking about that a little bit today.
01:39First, we got to get on AOC, of course, because, yeah, as you heard, she was trying to offer
01:48some advice to her constituents on how to avoid detainment.
01:55Yeah.
01:56And she recently ran to NPR.
01:58And here's that clip.
02:00Let's dive in.
02:04You had a recent dispute, if that's the right word, with Tom Homan, the president's Homeland
02:10Security czar, so-called.
02:13You held an online forum, a Know Your Rights forum, that he didn't like.
02:17What were you doing?
02:18What was your goal as you saw it?
02:20My job is to educate and act as a liaison of critical information to my constituents.
02:28And I was informing all of my constituents of their constitutional protections, and in
02:35particular, their constitutional protections against illegal search and seizure in the United
02:42States.
02:43Homan was upset, I suppose, because he felt that you were giving advice to people who
02:47were here illegally.
02:48Were you?
02:49I was giving advice to all of my constituents.
02:52Yeah.
02:53He said he was going to report you or even that he did reach out to the Department of
02:57Justice.
02:57Have you heard from the Department of Justice?
02:59I have not, and I intend on reaching out to the Department of Justice to inquire.
03:04Really?
03:04What would your question be for the Department of Justice?
03:07Well, there is a member of the Trump administration who is threatening and seeks to open an inquiry,
03:13and are you going to do it?
03:15What would you learn?
03:16What do you hope to learn from that exchange?
03:18I think it's important to know where this administration stands and if they intend on using political
03:24intimidation to silence their critics.
03:27Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ain't that ironic, huh?
03:33Because isn't that what Joe Biden and all of you Democrats were just doing to Trump?
03:38But we ain't going to talk about that.
03:40No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
03:45According to the law, you're a criminal.
03:47You're not allowed to do that.
03:48And notice she was very careful with her words too, okay?
03:51Because that's a key part of it.
03:54She said all people.
03:55But the thing about it is, um, you're not allowed to aid in a bed.
04:02And the thing, like, AOC knows this, and that's why you saw her choosing her words very, very
04:12carefully as she was talking about this, because that's important, the way that she words this.
04:17And of course, yeah, she did, uh, write a letter, of course.
04:20Uh, and I have it right here.
04:22Here it is on your screen, okay?
04:25Um, I write to request clarity on whether the Department of Justice has yielded to political
04:31pressure in attempts to weaponize the agency against elected officials whose speech they
04:36disagree with.
04:38No, this isn't just speech we disagree with.
04:41This is actually against the law.
04:44Uh, and, uh, and, and seeking clarity on the law, I don't think is a bad thing.
04:50Uh, Tom Holman asks for clarity.
04:53That's a good thing.
04:54So we're not in the dark about this.
04:57AOC is not the only person in trouble.
04:59Uh, some of these mayors of the cities are in trouble as well.
05:05Uh, Boston's mayor, Denver's mayor, as well as, um, Chicago's mayor.
05:12And then, uh, we have New York city's mayor are in some hot water and some real hot water.
05:19And, uh, they recently had to testify in front of Congress and, uh, this is how it went.
05:26Mayor Johnston, um, are you willing to go to jail for violating federal law?
05:30The city of Chicago complies with all laws.
05:33Oh, I highly doubt that.
05:34Mayor Wu?
05:35We are not violating federal law.
05:36Mayor Wu, I have a last couple of questions for you.
05:39Um, do you believe that ICE arresting a child rapist, quote, threatens everyone's safety, end quote?
05:45Yes or no?
05:46No.
05:47Does ICE arresting a murderous MS-13 member threaten everyone's safety, yes or no?
05:53No.
05:53I would like to hold up this quote of you where you say ICE's efforts actually threaten the safety of
06:01everyone, end quote.
06:02Vote Boston mayor, Michelle Wu.
06:05You're a hypocrite.
06:06Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
06:09Hey, Nancy Mace is not playing, man.
06:12She's not playing any games.
06:13You're a hypocrite.
06:14And I got, and I got the evidence.
06:18I love it.
06:19I love it.
06:20I love it.
06:20But she's not the only one.
06:22I know Paulina Luna.
06:24Yeah.
06:25She got fiery, too.
06:27Chair now recognizes Miss Luna from Florida.
06:29Mayor Wu, does the Boston Trust Act restrict communication with federal immigration authorities
06:34regarding individuals' immigration status, yes or no?
06:38We do not collect immigration status in law enforcement.
06:40Um, I'd just like to point out, and Mr. Chairman, if I could enter the Boston Trust Act into the
06:45record.
06:47Mr. Chairman.
06:48Without objection.
06:49Without objection to order.
06:51Um, on page, or let's see, section 4AA, um, a law enforcement office, official and employment
06:57of the City Department agency or commission, shall not, and then A, inquire of an individual
07:01on his or her immigration status.
07:04Um, under Title VIII, U.S. Code subsection 1373 stipulates that local governments cannot
07:10prohibit or restrict communication with federal immigration authorities regarding individuals'
07:15immigration status, so your enforcement of this act is in direct violation of that statute.
07:19Can you please confirm?
07:21That is not the truth.
07:22Thank you, ma'am.
07:22That's the U.S. Code.
07:23I don't know about you, but U.S. Code does not lie.
07:25We do not ask about immigration status, and that is what makes us safe in the city.
07:29Mayor Johnston, you said in your testimony that the first step you took after illegal
07:33aliens arrived was to provide them with housing.
07:35Is that correct, yes or no?
07:37Folks that were on the streets, uh, freeze and death, we gave access to shelter.
07:41Yes, we did.
07:42Um, not to be rude here, but you have a good understanding of what the definition of harboring
07:47is, correct?
07:48I do.
07:48Okay.
07:48Uh, for those that might not harboring means to knowingly or recklessly provide shelter
07:53or place to stay for an illegal alien, and according to Title 8 of U.S. Code Subsection
07:591324, that is also a federal crime.
08:02Um, just to be clear, did you also say that you would be willing to go to jail to stop
08:07deportation
08:08efforts?
08:09Uh, I, uh, I did say that I'd be willing to stand up for all of our residents, and, uh,
08:14the context was that was the point at which the administration was threatening to deploy
08:16the U.S. military to streets of our cities to pull kids out of schools and churches.
08:20So we were worried about that.
08:21Thank you, Mr. Johnson.
08:22Um, Mr. Chairman, I'd like to enter into the record an article from CBS.
08:26Without objection, so ordered.
08:28Um, in this, it says, Johnson said earlier this week that he's willing to use civil disobedience
08:32and, if necessary, going to jail to stop deportations.
08:36Um, my final question would be for you, Mr. Uh, Mayor Johnson.
08:40Do you believe that Chicago's welcoming city ordinance encourages illegal aliens to enter the United
08:45States, specifically into Chicago, yes or no?
08:48Mr. No.
08:51Okay.
08:51Um, so you don't believe that banning the transfer of individuals into ICE custody for the purpose
08:56of civil immigration enforcement encourages illegal immigration into Chicago?
09:00Mr. We can...
09:01Or how about agencies, sorry, one second, or agents not being able to stop, arrest, or detain
09:06individuals based solely on their immigration status or administrative warrants?
09:10Mr. So we comply with all laws, local, state, and federal.
09:12To me, after this line of questioning, it's very clear that these policies that you have
09:18all implicated are active and alive and well in your cities are in direct violation with
09:23U.S. Title 8, Code Subsection 1324, and it is a federal offense.
09:28But you all speak about a broken immigration system, and yet here you guys are aiding and
09:34abetting in that entire process.
09:36I want to be very clear about something.
09:38Open border policies, which is something that you guys are talking about, hurts people on
09:42both sides, meaning the people that are coming here illegally and then American citizens as
09:46well.
09:47Um, I do not think you guys are bad people, but I think that you are ideologically misled,
09:52which is why, unfortunately, based on your responses, I'm all going to be criminally referring
09:57you to the Department of Justice for investigation.
09:59And as soon as I leave here, these will be going over to Pam Bondi.
10:03Sure.
10:05Going to Pam Bondi's office.
10:08I love it.
10:09I love it.
10:10Some accountability, you know, some accountability.
10:13I'm not mad at that at all.
10:16Uh, and just for good measure, you know, I got to get the brother Byron in on it because
10:21he got fiery too.
10:23Mayor Johnston, coming back to you, how much did your city spend on illegal immigration?
10:28Do you have a round number?
10:29Uh, over the last couple of years on all newcomers, whatever their status was, it's around 79
10:34million since 2022.
10:3579 million.
10:36Mayor Johnson, Chicago.
10:38How much has the city of Chicago spent on illegal immigration?
10:41If you refer into the 2022 up to 2024 of the buses coming from Texas, roughly the same
10:49percentage of the state of Texas, about 1% of our overall budget.
10:52What is that?
10:53Because we don't have the city's budget in front of me.
10:55Numbers.
10:55It's 1% and if you want the actual calculation, we can make sure someone.
10:59You're the mayor.
11:00You don't have the math in front of you.
11:01It's 1% of the overall budget over the last four years.
11:04All right, that's why you were failing mayor.
11:04Mayor Adams, how much did the city of New York actually spend on illegal immigration?
11:08Mayor Johnson, I already asked you.
11:10You don't have a hard number.
11:11And if you don't have a hard number, you're not running your city well.
11:14Mayor Adams, how much did the city of New York actually spend on illegal immigration?
11:176.9 billion of taxpayers' dollars.
11:216.9 billion dollars of taxpayer money on a problem that was fostered on the American people.
11:28Mayor Wu, in the city of Boston, how much did you spend?
11:31We don't ask about immigration status and delivering citizens.
11:33You don't ask about how much money the city of Boston has spent on illegal immigration?
11:38Are you out of your mind?
11:39We don't distinguish between immigration status as part of our city policy.
11:40Do you manage your budget or not, Mayor Wu?
11:42That is how we keep our city safe.
11:43Mayor Wu, do you manage your budget or not?
11:45I manage my numbers to prove it.
11:46I manage my budget.
11:47I have a triple A bond rating dated back 10 years to the city of Boston budget.
11:50So to the city of Boston, just understand that your mayor does not care how much of your resources she
11:55has spent on people who are not citizens of the city of Boston.
11:58The city of Boston is sick of having people outside Boston telling us what we need.
12:06Byron did not come to play, and I love it.
12:09I love it.
12:09I love it.
12:10I love it.
12:10So, yeah, man, it seems like Democrats are having a real bad time right now.
12:14Now, and it's about damn time, you know, and I hope more of it continues, right?
12:20Because these people, they're terrible folks.
12:24They really are.
12:25I mean, there's no other way to put it.
12:29No other way to put it.
12:30The Democrat Party deserves everything it has coming for it.
12:35And it's a sinking ship, and I'm loving watching it.
12:38It is a sinking ship.
12:41I love it.
12:41I love it.
12:42I love it.
12:42I love it.
12:43We need more of it.
12:44And any Democrat that is a criminal or is committing crimes, like possibly AOC, maybe.
12:52We shall see.
12:54They should be prosecuted.
12:55They should be prosecuted.
12:57Now, I will say I would understand not prosecuting them simply because of the optics, right?
13:05Because we know what Democrats are going to do.
13:09But on the other hand, if you commit the crime, you got to do the time.
13:14And it shouldn't matter what mainstream media tries to paint it as, which, you know, the mainstream media is going
13:20to paint Trump as a dictator and a tyrant and blah, blah, blah.
13:23Because he locked up his DOJ, locked up this Democrat or that Democrat.
13:30That's exactly what they're going to do.
13:32Fully expect that.
13:35So, I mean, maybe wait until after the midterms.
13:38I don't know.
13:39Or if you're going to do it, like do it now, ASAP.
13:42So, by the time the midterms come, this is all kind of died down.
13:47It's kind of faded away.
13:48You know?
13:49That's just my humble opinion.
13:50Like, if you're going to do it, do it early or do it immediately after the midterms.
13:55That's just my humble opinion.
13:56Don't do it real close to the midterms.
13:58And don't do it super close to 28.
14:01Because, you know, people can be influenced by mainstream media still.
14:05Do I think that mainstream media has the power that it once had?
14:08Obviously not.
14:09We saw that.
14:10We witnessed that.
14:11But they still have a little bit of power.
14:13And I do think they could influence some folks to feel and believe that Trump and Republicans are dictators or
14:21tyrants or whatever for locking up some Democrats.
14:25So, what do you think?
14:27What do you think?
14:28Should these folks be locked up?
14:30Or maybe not even locked up.
14:32Maybe just charged and found guilty and get a little slap on the wrist like old boy did Jamal Bowman.
14:40Y'all remember Jamal Bowman, the guy that pulled the fire alarm and said, oh, well, I don't know.
14:44I don't know.
14:46He just basically got a slap on the wrist.
14:48Maybe we should do something like that.
14:50Make them all pay a fine of some sort.
14:52You know, a little slap on the wrist.
14:53Don't throw them in jail.
14:55But, you know, it's like, well, don't do it again now.
14:57Don't do it again.
14:59Or just kind of just leave it alone.
15:01What do y'all think?
15:02Talk to me.
15:02Let me know.
15:03Thanks for tuning in.
15:04As always, peace and love.
15:06I'm out.
