00:00Without your love, your support, and your prayers, we would not be here tonight celebrating this incredible victory.
00:08I'd also like to thank all of the grassroots local, state, and national leaders who supported this campaign.
00:15And then there's one person who I think you might know.
00:20President Donald J. Trump.
00:29When everyone in Washington told him to abandon me and abandon the people of Texas, he didn't listen.
00:34Instead, he gave his complete and total endorsement.
00:39President Trump is the leader of our party, and his endorsement is the most powerful force in politics.
00:47And I'm honored to have his support, and I look forward to working with him in the Senate to deliver
00:52for Texas.
00:54Tonight is not the end of a campaign.
00:56Tonight is the beginning of the fight to preserve every value we hold dear.
01:00The future of Texas and the future of America is on the line, and I intend to do everything I
01:05can to expand our movement.
01:08I've won three statewide elections because I know how critical it is for our party to come together, and that's
01:14what we must do now.
01:16Without a shadow of a doubt, I will be the Democrats' number one target in November.
01:23Texas will be the radical left's number one priority.
01:26But if there's one thing I know about Texans, it's that we're not going to let them take it.
01:32No!
01:34No!
01:36No!
01:37No!
01:38God bless you.
01:39God bless you.
01:40God bless Texas.
01:40God bless the United States of America.
01:54I think it's a great win.
01:56You know, I think for our state that what Ken Paxton has done is he has just represented someone that
02:02really fights for us, and John Cornyn has just done an amazing job for our state.
02:10But at some point in time, we need someone that can come in there a little bit younger that can
02:15really fight the fight, because we do have a really big fight ahead.
02:23Well, you know, I think the Trump endorsement, people are questioning, does he still have it?
02:28And I think this kind of hammered it home and showed tonight that, hey, we're united and going forward.
02:34And I don't see how Tellurico, unless Texas has really changed so much, has a chance with his beliefs and
02:40his views.
02:41I don't think there's any contest.
02:48We need more politicians like him.
02:51He has time and time again proven his worthiness for all of us.
02:56He's proven that he's a Christian, that he is for what God is for.
03:00That's what's important to me.
03:05I'm hoping that everyone can come together.
03:08I mean, we are all one in one big country, and we just need to be unified.
03:14And as far as Tellurico goes, we need to save all of, like, the gun laws he's wanting to change,
03:23bringing, you know, the woke thing back.
03:26And, you know, America, Texas isn't under all that stuff.
03:30So we really need to bring back Christian values to our state.
03:45James Tellurico is just a placeholder for whatever they were going to put in there.
03:51There's nothing exceptional about him.
03:52There's nothing exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.
03:55He's very much just checking all the boxes on the Team Blue scorecard.
04:00And I don't think he has much of a chance.
04:03But, you know, if Ken Paxton makes a mistake, maybe he could slip in there.
