00:04country. We have many tools in the free AccuWeather app to help you to stay safer and make the best
00:09informed decisions related to thunderstorms and lightning risk and any type of weather that
00:13you're going to be dealing with. And you can download those tools for free by downloading
00:17the AccuWeather app by scanning the QR code on the screen. And I'm going to show you when you
00:22down at the bottom here, there are many different tabs to access today, hour by hour, day by day
00:28forecasts and radar maps. This is one of the dozens of maps that we have on the free AccuWeather
00:34app. And notice we show lightning on this map and you see the city that you're looking at
00:41and there's rings 10 miles, 20 miles and 30 miles from that particular location. So you
00:47can see all these little squiggles. These are recent lightning strikes. And you can swipe here
00:53to the left and that allows you to see the track of lightning here over the last couple
00:57of hours and how it's evolving with proximity to your area. So you can very easily see not only
01:02the typical radar and the intensity of the rain that's falling, but also where the lightning strikes
01:08are happening. And that helps you to be better planning. When you also tap on the today screen,
01:13you also can see if you have lightning occurring nearby. We have a control now that shows that
01:19details right on the top there. Lightning is occurring in your area. That's from the exclusive
01:23AccuWeather Lightning Network. And we also have the ability to send you push notifications. And
01:28those notifications, even if you don't have the AccuWeather app open, will send you a notification
01:33when lightning is detected by that AccuWeather Lightning Network in your area. You have to
01:37turn these on under lightning notifications under settings, but that's another great tool as well.
