00:00Iran says it will retaliate for the U.S.'s military self-defense strikes in and around
00:05the Strait of Hormuz on Monday. The Trump administration, however, seems unfazed.
00:09Here's Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Tuesday.
00:11What's happening here is unlawful, it's illegal, it's unsustainable for the world,
00:14it's unacceptable. The straits need to be open, unimpeded, without tolls. And
00:20obviously that needs to happen to me equally as soon as anything is used.
00:23That last part there about something being agreed to. Well, he's talking about the
00:27negotiations President Trump said were progressing, quote, nicely. That's the
00:31actual word he used just a couple of days ago. So what the heck is up? Are things
00:36still nicely on track after the U.S. struck Iranian assets and Iran threatened
00:40retaliation? Secretary Rubio addressed that question as well. The president's
00:44expressed his desire to make it. He's either going to make a good deal or no
00:47deal. So on that, everyone should be assured, but that may take a little while.
