00:00Coming to the U.S. was a whole new experience. I had about $50 and the place I landed was
00:07Detroit.
00:08From there, I found a, kind of like a hostel, found a fast food restaurant to work at. I was
00:13there for probably about a year. Life became a little normal. As I was working in the fast food,
00:18there was an army recruiting station across the street. There was this army gentleman that he
00:23used to come in and we would talk a lot of times and he basically asked me, if you don't
00:28like the
00:29way things are going here, you want to sign up for the army. So I signed up. From there on
00:33in the
00:34military, it was like one mission after another. The focus was all around the missions. Watch
00:40humanity at its worst. It's a scar that I can never heal. We were in this village and I walked
00:46into
00:46this hut. There was this mother, she was obviously, and she was holding a baby and her were so she
00:54couldn't feed the baby and they tied the baby to her as she was watching that baby. I try not
01:01to think about it.
