00:44not in a ballroom, but a gymnasium full of volleyball players.
00:48The happy couple had been upstairs celebrating,
00:51but in the middle of a traditional Indian wedding dance,
00:56tornado warnings went off.
00:57I was kind of freaking out.
00:59They hustled everyone to the basement to take shelter,
01:02crashing a girls' volleyball tournament in the process.
01:05The players, initially confused,
01:07quickly embraced the change in plans.
01:11That was me.
01:12And then they just started chanting our names
01:14and screaming, I keep spinning me a few times,
01:18and I think that's when the floodgates kind of opened.
01:20It started dancing with us,
01:22and so it really lifted the spirits a lot for both of us.

01:28but it was like no longer sad tears.
01:30It was just like these joyful tears of complete strangers
01:33like encouraging me and encouraging us.

01:39showing that when you come together,
01:40not even a tornado can steal your thunder.
