00:06tackle inequality and improve access to sport. The event at John Charles Centre for Sport
00:11was organised by the Kit Equipment Exchange Partnership to distribute sports kit and equipment
00:17to people across the city who may not have access to it or be able to afford it.
00:22The 3,400 pieces of kit were donated by organisations in partnership and included
00:28sports tops and bottoms, jackets, trainers and sports bras. Some were completely brand new and
00:35many barely used. 300 pieces were donated after being left behind at Leeds Marathon
00:41which took place earlier this month.
