00:00I'm now to check in with Rochelle for tonight's weather forecast.
00:04Thank you, Vash. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:08I hope you guys had a great weekend.
00:10We blinked and it was already Monday.
00:12But let's take a look at what we can expect on your Monday night.
00:16Tonight will be fair but hazy with a light breeze and the odd isolated shower
00:21with minimum temperatures at 25 degrees in Trinidad and 26 in Tobago.
00:26Now, as we're edging closer to June, which is the start of the hurricane season,
00:31we're starting to see that shift from bright, sunny and clear skies
00:35to now a bit gloomy with more cloud cover from time to time.
00:40With that being said, tomorrow will be dull, hazy and breezy to windy
00:44with few brief isolated showers and with daytime temperatures
00:48at 33 degrees in Trinidad and 32 in Tobago.
00:52And what's also happening is a significant concentration of Saharan dust
00:57present in the atmosphere.
00:59So if we take a look here and you're seeing this red area right here,
01:03that's the accumulation of dust, which will give us that high concentration
01:07of Saharan dust and that will linger for the next couple of days.
01:11So sensitive persons should take the necessary precautions.
01:15Drink your water, wear your masks, your shades, use air purifiers
01:19and keep those windows closed. Protect yourself, guys.
01:23Now, for the last couple of days, we got gloomy skies,
01:26but the sun will get back to work on Wednesday and Thursday
01:29with sunny, hazy and breezy conditions.
01:32A few brief isolated showers are expected here and there,
01:36but nothing to interrupt your day.
01:39But here's exactly when she will clock in and clock out for the day.
01:42In Trinidad, sunrise is at 5.42 and 5.38 in Tobago
01:46and sunset at 6.23 in Trinidad and 6.20 in Tobago.
01:51If you're headed to the beach tomorrow,
01:53seas will be moderate with waves 2 meters to 2.5 meters in open waters
01:57and 1 meter to 1.5 meters, occasionally choppy, in sheltered areas.
02:03So basically moderately rough seas with larger waves offshore
02:06and smaller but sometimes bumpy waves near the coast.
02:10It's now time for your tight times.
02:26Well, that's all for weather tonight.
02:28And when you wake up in the morning,
02:30make sure you say, I'm going to have a great day.
02:33Now, Sachin, tell me all that's happening in sports.
02:37Wonderful message.
02:38Wonderful message indeed, Rochelle.
02:40To come and sport, everybody.
